Leah has GOT to be going through a growth spurt. She has been up eating all night, and she just about shut down the buffet at Golden Corral tonight! She ate:
- About half of a cup of mashed potatos, with roast beef, and gravy.
- White rice.
- Half of a yeast roll.
- A few bites of cornbread.
- An entire jar of butternut squash and harvest apple baby food.
- Several bites of meatloaf.
- About a quarter of a cup of spaghetti and meat sauce.
- A couple bites of very cherry dessert stuff.
- About a quarter of a cup of sugar free chocolate pudding.
- A couple bites of banana pudding.
In NO WAY WHAT SO EVER am I exaggerating! She LITERALLY ate that much! Seriously, I was SO full that just watching her continue to eat, made me want to throw up. Worst of all she was STILL SCREAMING and CRYING for MORE food!
Oops, totally forgot about the last couple of bites she had of her daddy's chocolate cake. (It was too dry for her overly developed palate.) LoL...
If she doesn't gain 5 lb.'s this week, I will be shocked. (If she didn't gain 5 lb.'s after TONIGHT I'll be shocked...)
To end off the evening, while Hailey used my potty, we had a short conversation:
Hailey: "Mommy, what is this foot thing for?"
Me: "What foot thing?"
Hailey: "The thing you put your feet on..."
Me: "What thing?"
Hailey: "The thing you stand on with your feet!"
After looking I realized she was talking about my scale.
Me: "Oh, that's my scale..."
Hailey: "What's if for?" She actually pronounces "for" like "fur"...
Me: "It's to see how much I weigh..."
Hailey: "Why do you care how much your feet weigh?"
It's the little things like that, that make me smile.
