Ewww, sick SUCKS
I hate being sick. Abso-friggin-lutely HATE it. I mean I know that everyone hates being sick, no one likes it. But I think I hate it more. Probably because since the flue hit 4 out of the 5 of us way back when a few months ago, at least one of us has been sick the entire time. From tonsillitis, to gastritis, to ear infections, and upper respiratory infections, stomach bugs, sinus infections, it's just ridiculous. Not to mention the smashed fingers and broken legs and all that other crap. If someone isn't hurt, then someone is sick. Last Hailey was getting over a double ear infection, Joshua was just diagnosed with an awful ear infection, and I started running a fever with some awful stomach bug type stuff. All while poor Leah is in cast with a broken leg, and coming down with a croupy cough and nasty runny nose. Somehow, not sure how, but some how Mel has managed to dodge all of this crap! Sooo not fair. The thing is, is that before the awful flue that hit us all, we were hardly ever sick! I can name on one hand how many ear infections all of my kids have had together and here they are 2 out of 3 of 'em with ear infections! It's like the flue put such a whoopin' on our immune systems we haven't had a chance to bounce back before being hit by ANOTHER icky sickness! It's just getting really old, really fast. As of today, Leah had a super-mega-ew snot nose things goin' on, and Hailey is down for the count with a fever an a NASTY cough. I'm beginning to think we're all dying from an infectious mold disease. Except for Mel. He thinks he's so cool with his healthiness. Boo. "Oh look at me my immune system actually functions!" Okay, he doesn't say that, and I'm beyond thankful and grateful that he is healthy. If he were sick who would work around here? Anyway I'm wishing, and hoping, and begging, and praying for a new healthy start this spring!!! Since the Lysol and bleach alone have been deemed ineffective, we're moving on to other more extreme measures. What? Not sure yet...but we gotta try something!
{PS} see my little sick dude up there? he was my second sick dude. this was my first sick dude:
I just wasn't happy with him. At all. And besides, the thermometer looks like a cigarette anyway. So I went into more detail with the new sick dude. And I like him better. The thermometer is much more obviously a thermometer. And I think the "sick" come across better. Maybe it's just me....
You be the judge:
Yea, I know...I'm right....
{PPS} or is it {PSS}??
I keep hearing barnyard animal noises comin' from the desktop 'puter where Mel is clicking away. I hope he's on farmville and not some strange fetish site...it has been confirmed, he is on farmville. Can't lie, gotta admit I'm a little relieved.
{PPPS} or {PSSS}
Joshua just asked when we're having lunch. We ate an hour ago. Sometimes I worry about him...in a loving way.
Getting to Know You
1. Would you rather bungee jump or sky dive?
Um neither. Remember?! Falling scares the skiddly-do out of me!!! But if I had to chose it would be bungee 'cause then I'm actually attached to something.
2. When using a public restroom to you squat over the seat or sit?
It really depends on the establishment and weather or not they have those papery seat covers. Some places are so nasty I wouldn't sit even I could bleach it first and line it with thick luxurious bath towels.

3. Favorite flower?
I love daisys, the fun colored ones.

4. Pedicure or manicure?
Pedicure for shiz! My feed need it after the weight they gotta carry around all the time, and I just ruin manicures way too quickly.

5. How many siblings do you have?
I have 2.5 siblings.
I have 2.5 siblings.
6. Do you pee in the shower? (gasp!)
My husband and I have this discussion all the time. His argument is, "It all goes down the same pipes." Where my argument is, "I don't care what pipes they go down, it the legs it runs down that bothers me." So therefore I would have to answer no. Except for when I was pregnant and it kinds sorta happened unexpectedly one time, and I couldn't control it...oh so disgusting and embarrassing.

7. Bikini, tankini, or one piece?
How about Wholesome Wear? No thank you. I do the one piece or tankini, whatever most effectively covers up all that I got goin' on. (Which is a LOT.)

8. Where do you hate to shop at, but go there anyway?
Umm, I honestly don't think I shop anywhere that I hate. I think if I hated it, I wouldn't shop there.

Sunday Scramble
Happy Sunday ya'll! Linkin' up with the lovely Justine from Stupid is as Stupid Does for another Sunday Scramble.

It occurred to me the other day that I tend to take notes on anything and everything. If an idea pops into my head I have to write it down or it will surely be forgotten! Therefore I have taken to writing on anything with a surface capable of being written on. To prove my point I took pics of actual "notes" I have jotted down on a couple of things. In this case, a cup lid, and a MoneySaver.

In this case, I threw caution to the wind and scribble scrabbled, which is something I usually steer clear from.
Leah blows my mind! She is actually WALKING in her cast! It takes a lot to hold that girl down, that's for sure. She hobbles around like a little Tiny Tim. It's the cutest thing ever. (Mel actually calls her Tiny Tim, which I think is kinda mean, but kinda funny too.) I will have to take a video of her hobbling around before she gets her cast taken off. I hope she's able to walk okay once it comes off. I have no doubts that she will do just fine though.☺ {This was jotted down before the tantrum incident, in which her hobbling was indeed capture on video. You can check it out a few posts back!}
So remember my whole "Thirteen Things that Scare the Skiddly-Doo Out of Me" post? I posted that on Thursday, and while wasting 3/4 of yesterday on Facebook, I came across a post of a friend that read, "had a very eventful morning. rattlesnake in my bathroom! 2400 sq ft house for sale!" I mean WHAT THE CRAP?!?!?! I seriously got so freaked out just from reading that and her story, I think if it were to happen to me I am pretty sure I would die from never using the bathroom again. Either that or I would make a horrible mess of myself. Either way, OMG, it's gonna take me a while to get past that.
Hailey to Mel just this morning: "Can I get you a beer or hot chocolate or something?"
I mean, could you get more random then that?
Not only has Leah graduated to full-blow nose blower this week, she has also moved up in the speaking department and is up to 4 word sentences.(Although small words.) I.E. "I don't want it.", "I want a sip!", "I don't want to." and most likely the funniest and/or cutest, "Because I said so!" which she yelled at Hailey this morning.
Miss Leah:
She was lookin' rather cute before church last Sunday and I had to snap a pic...
I am really pondering on having more kids. I think it would just be selfish to deprive the world of such cuteness.
I think my family is dying from some sort of infectious mold disease.
I had a super-fab birthday dinner at Firebirds Rocky Mountain Grill last night! Food was YUM-O, and I got to chat it up with awesome peeps and fam. I only wish EVERYone I love could've been there! I got awesome schtuff's for my birthenday too. Thanks everyone! I love you!!!!!!
Check out my super yum birthday cake/dessert:
It totally looked like it was bleeding from wicked flesh wound, in which Melanie replied, "It's a zombie cake", which earned her mega-points in my book.
Mel is trying to paint the kids bathroom and because he took the door off he can't keep Leah out and because I'm too busy blogging I'm not keeping her out. And it's just not working out.
One of the best birthday cards EVER, from my Fasha:
If you can't tell what it says:
First Bubble: "I wanna dance!! And sing drunken karaoke!! And get some tattoos!! And do belly shots off a stranger!! And rob a bank!! And...Second Bubble: "What's up with her?"
Third Bubble: "She's got three kids...Doesn't get out much..."
Haha SO me! Thanks Dad and Shu! Love you guys!
Okay, that's it for my Sunday Scramble! So now, head on over to Stupid is as Sister Does!!
Argh!
I KNEW something like this would happen!!
So I went to play around with making a Facebook Fan Page for the bloggy blog, and what do I get? THIS:

She was an angry little elf...
Leah decided the world was being an unjust and cruel place today. So she did what any logical toddler would do and threw things. I was only able to catch her throwing one thing, because once the camera was on her she just got mad and put her face in her hands and then walked to me to show me that she had snot all over her hand. But I was able to catch her Tiny Tim hobble!
I hate my voice. Terribly so. So please try to ignore that. And please ignore the laundry basket on the couch behind her.

Five Questions!!

My first link up with My Little Lifes FIVE QUESTION FRIDAY!!
Thanks so much for hostin' Mama M!!!1. Do you sing karaoke? If so, what is your go to song?
I have never sun karaoke, but it's something I have always wanted to do. I've never been able to sing in front of anyone. I put a mic to my lips and my throat freezes up, rendering me completely singless. But if I was a karaoke queen, my song would totally be "Don't Stop Believin'" By Journey.
2. What is your favorite coffee drink?
I love, love, LOVE me some dunkicino's from Dunkin Donuts. It's the love child of coffee and hot chocolate.
3. If you could choose your own name, what would it be?
Queen Strawberryana McFancypants
When I was in the second grade I used to tell people that my "real" name was Mikayla. But I would totally go with Queen Strawberryana McFancypants now that I'm much more older and mature.
4. Were you ever bullied?
I can thank my lucky starts that I was able to make it through childhood without any bullying. Unless you count sibling bullying, in which I would have to say, yes, I was bullied. Viciously. Older sisters can be eeeeevil.
5. How often do you eat fast food?
Much, much, much, infitinitely much more often then I should. At LEAST once a week. Sometimes more, but usually it's around once a week.

I love figuring out new stuff...
It's so fast! What is it saying! What does it mean! Why am I doing this to you?! Will it cause a seizure! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
Oh man, this post even annoys myself....

Friday Flashback
Third grade had to have been one of my most embarrassing years. It wasn't embarrassing at the time, but it's my most embarrassing time to tell people about. So naturally I have to blog about it.
Third grade was not a good year for me beauty wise. I had a perm that didn't hold, so it was more like a half-perm wannabe, glasses I didn't really need, but wanted probably because a friend of mind had them. I had a horrible gap between my two big front teeth. It was definitely an awkward year for me to say the least. I wish I had a pic to show, but I'll just do my best to draw the third grade Brianne.
One of the biggest things to happen while in third grade was Jurassic Park. That movie was the movie of all movies. Because it was rated PG-13 and all, I wasn't allowed to watch it, but those previews looked sooooo cool! So I did the next best thing and read the book. (Which doesn't make sense to me, why would my mom let me read the book, written for adults, by an adult, but not let me watch the movie? I mean the book was more graphic, with the little dino's eating babies faces and such....) Anway, I was a dinosaur FaREAK! For reals. I had a Jurassic Park everything. A lunchbox, the comforter, a pencil case...I wanted to be a paleontologist, and I knew it ALL about dinosaurs. I dreamed about dinosaurs, I played "Jurassic Park" with my friends, I was obsessed!
So what so embarrassing? You ask?
Well besides the horrible hair, teeth, and glasses, it was the Jurassic Park stuff that was so embarrassing! I.E. for Halloween, what did I dress up as? A paleontologist from Jurassic Park. I think I was going for the Dr. Grant look, but it really came out more of a crocodile hunter look. I put on my most dig-up-dinosaurish clothes, and rubbed dirt on my clothes and face. I think I also had some sort of hat. Not a cool Dr. Grant/Indian Jones hat either, it was like one of my mom's or something. ANYway, let me just tell you, if people have to ask what you are dressed up as, then you kinda failed at the whole dress-up thing. Don't ya think? (In my defense, my mom was anti-Halloween, and I'm pretty lucky I got to dress up and go trick-or-treating at all, in fact this is my one and only trick-or-treating memory I have have.....)
Then came my birthday. Of course I had to have a Jurassic Park birthday! We had the plates, and napkins, and I just HAD to wear my paleontologist digs. We had "Dinosaur Eggs" (pigs in a blanket), had green hi-c (they don't make it anymore, and I'm pretty sure it's because it was toxic...and I'm not sure what my mom called it, but I'm sure it was dinosaury....), oh and we went on a "dinosaur hunt" in my backyard with maps and everything. I'm not positive but I think I had some sort of dinosaur cake. And if I didn't that was major fail on mom's part. I wish I had pics, but all I have are sketchy memories. *sigh*
Hands down best part of my third grade year? My sister and I went to the movies with our aunt and uncle. Well because I wasn't allowed, I had to go see a different movie with my uncle while my sister got to see Jurassic Park. (sobs) Anywho, because we were watching some kiddy movie, (not sure what it was, it could have been flubber, but I'd have to see when flubber came out, and I really just don't know....) our movie ended before Jurassic Park. So we got to go sit in on the end of the movie!!!! I mean! OH. MY. DARN IT!! I remember vividly those beautiful velociraptors up on the big screen. Oh sweet success!! I think seeing the tale end of the movie just made me THAT much more obsessed.
I'm not sure when, or why mom finally caved and let me watch the movie. Maybe she read the book and was "oh my crap! what have i done?!", but either way, we bought that movie, and I watched it over, and over, and over again. In fact somewhere I still have that VHS tape. I have sense bought the entire Jurassic Park movie collection on DVD, and then will of course have to buy it on blu ray, and I have passed on the love of dinosaurs to my boy, who knows more about them then I ever did, and knows more then anyone else I've ever met.
I know longer have any other dino paraphernalia, other than the old VHS, but I wish I did. Especially my Super NES Jurassic Park game. That game was SO rad!! I don't think I ever got passed any levels, or was very good at it, but it was probably because I was so scared that raptors were gonna fly at me at any moment. (Which they did, and it scared me so therefore I was very skittish when playing the game.)
Anywho, there's a recap on my third grade year.
{PS} Other things I remember about my third grade year:
Teacher: Mrs. Batterman
Best Friends: Mary Doran, Krista Bondurant, Sarah Clifford
Crush: James
Sports: Horseback Vaulting and Soccer
(And yes, I will have to blog one day about the horseback vaulting....)

Thursdays Thirteen
Welcome to the second installment of The Photog Nazi's Thursdays Thirteen
Thirteen Things That Scare the Skiddly-Doo Out of Me
{Zelda} From Pet Semetary. OMG who CARE's about anything else in that movie?! I'm scared of Zelda! And omg now I'm all freaked out. Why did I have to blog about his at night?!
{The Dark} No good reason for that one. I just am. I imagine horrible things that I can't see. Normal shapes, like furniture and such become scary things. (Like Zelda.)
{The Exorcist "Spiderwalk"}Why is that the scariest part of the movie for me? Why?! I don't know...but it's not natural, and it's creepy, and I think one day my my kids are going to come out of their rooms walking like that. Probably after eating a Nerf dart.
{A Snake in the Toilet} I have to thoroughly check any toilet I ever sit on to ensure that there is no snake about to sink it's fangs into me bum. I do NOT want to die from a poisonous snake bite to my buttocks.

{Zombie Kids} I love zombies, but not when they bite my babies, and then my babies become zombies! Because a zombie kiddo=a zombie mama, and I wanna survive the zombie apocalypse with all my kiddo's intact.(That's my attempt at zombiefying Joshua. I'm sure he'll think it's AWESOME.)
{Falling} I am super scared of falling. Therefore I'm scared of heights. And edges. Oh I hate edges. Especially high up edges. But it's just 'cause I'm scared of falling. (Won't catch me skydiving that's for sure!)
{Brown Recluse} I'm not deathly afraid of spiders, but I'm scared of brown recluses! I always inspect each spider I come across closely to see if it's a brown recluse. I would like to keep my flesh right where it is, thank you very much Mr. Spider.
{Great White Sharks} In the ocean, in pools, in bathtubs. If I am in a body of water, I am scared that I am about to be eaten alive at any moment by a man eating great white shark. Don't ever leave me alone in a pool or you'll see a fat white girl walk on water. I draw the line at taking baths by myself.
{The Dead Lady in the Tub on "The Shining"} Speaking of bathtubs, my mother can thank "The Shining" for having to sit in the bathroom while I showered and/or bathed for a period in my life. Hands down, the scariest part of the movie.
(Once again, WHY am I doing this at night?!)
{House Fire} Um, who isn't scared of that? But seriously, I pray for God to protect my home everytime I lock the door. It's a little OCD ritual that I do. I'm pretty sure if I don't pray everytime I lock my door when I leave my house, then I'm going to come home to ashes.
{Morbidly Obese} I'm scared I'm going to keep getting fatter and fatter until I'm so fat that I all I can do when I'm angry is throw plates. Or that they'll have to cut a hole in the side of the house to get me out when I die. Or burn the house down because they didn't want to cut a hole int he side of the house.
{Breaking Down at Night, on a Creepy Road, Without My Cell Phone} If I leave the house and I don't have my cell phone I freak. What if I breakdown?! At NIGHT?! In the DARK!? And I don't have a phone to call for help?! And Zelda and her BFF tub-lady-from-the-shining come "SpiderWalking" out of the woods to bite Joshua so that he's now a zombie, and I'm too morbidly obese to run away, so I walk at a brisk pace, and walk through a brown recluses web, and fall into a puddle and get eaten by a shark?!
{Getting Bitten by An Alligator When Getting In my Car} Sometimes I'll get a sneaking suspicion that an alligator is under my car, and it's going to whip around and bite me in the ankle, severing my akiles tendon, rendering me motionless, and unable to crawl away while it eats me alive. So sometimes I jump in to the car super fast, so that he doesn't have time to take a bite. Not today Mr. Alligator, not today...
So those are some of my fears. I am now off to bed to lay awake, because I'm too scared from having to search for all of these pictures of my fears. I should have just drawn them so that they would be not-so-scary. Maybe I'll do that to kill time one day.
Umm....what?
Me: What is lent?
Hubby: It's something Catholics do.
Me: But I'm a Christian and I don't know what it is.
Me: A bunch of people are giving stuff up for lent, like facebook and stuff.
Me: Is it where you're not supposed to eat fish on Fridays?
Hubby: No, you're not supposed to eath meat. And it's supposed to be the whole time, not just Fridays. You're actually supposed to fast.
Me: But this is the 20th century, so people are like "Whatever, I'll just give up Facebook...."
Hubby: Yea.
Me: Is it the 20th century?
Hubby: No it's the 21st.
Me: How long is lent?
Hubby: It's supposed to be a while before Easter. It ends Easter.
So, what is Lent? And why don't I already know what it is?! I was raised in (mostly Baptist) church, but I had never even heard of it until meeting the hubster, who was raised catholic. But now everyone is posting all these things about lent. I just want to know what it is. Can someone, anyone, fill me in?
{PS} I love Jesus, a lot, so I hope he's not offended about me not knowing what lent is.

Confessions of a Photog Nazi 7&8
Oh I'm not done confessing. Nope, not done at all!
So you may remember a little confession about my love for some kiddy-pop tunes. Well confession number seven is very similar....
#7 I'm a Disney Channel watchin', Nickelodeon Lovin' Mama!!!
iCarly, Sonny With a Chance, Wizards of Waverly Place, and yes even Hannah Montana....yup, I watch 'em! Not only do I "bare" with them for my kiddo's, I actualy *gulp* ENJOY them! At first it started out like any other kids show, background noise while I got work done. Then I found myself laughing at them. Then I found myself stopping to watch a few minutes. Next thing I know I'm pausing them when I leave room! Then, if pausing wasn't bad enough, I started RECORDING them on the DVR!! I knew I couldn't blame it on the kiddo's anymore when hubby came home last one night and I was sitting on the couch watch iCarly, AFTER the kiddo's had gone to bad...
Now don't knock me! It's actually very entertaining! Do I see oscars in any of the actors careers? No. Not anytime soon. (If ever.) But they're good, fun shows. Sometimes it seems like all of the dramatic "adult" shows are just too much. It's exhausting to watch them! It's always sex, and affairs, and murders, and twists, and turns. NO morals WHAT SO EVER. At least I always know I can watch one of the above shows without having to worry about my kids being in the room. They don't make me feel guilty, there's no Christian bashing, it's just clean humor, and fun stuff. Don't get me wrong, I love Bones, and House, and some of the bad stuff I mentioned, but a lot of topics do bother me. I have yet to be bothered by anything on the Disney and Nick shows. Seriously, if you have never watched them, and you come across an episode, stick around for a little while! I have a sneaking suspicion you won't turn the channel right away!
#8 I ♥ FRED
"Who is Fred?" You ask? THIS is Fred:
"Who is Fred?" You ask? THIS is Fred:
I came to know Fred from watching iCarly. He guest starred on the show one day. At first I was confused. "Who is this completely obnoxious kid?!" I thought. "OMG SOOOO Annoying! How could ANYone watch his videos's?!?!" Were other thoughts of mine. But the second or third time I watched the 'iMeet Fred' episode, I found myself laughing. It was just so weird and random! So I decided to Google this Fred character. I literally sat and watched about 10 of his videos. And laughed. A lot. Is his "voice" obnoxious? Yes. Do the video's make any sense what-so-ever? No. You could go on and on about all the things WRONG with the Fred video's. And I'm pretty sure many people have. But Fred is just something you have to "get". You either get it, or you don't. It's that simple. There's many, many things, in my silly life that other people just don't get. I laugh at things other people don't laugh at. I do things that I think are soooo funny, that other people just don't get. Well I get Fred. And I ♥ Fred.
Here's a link to one of my old fave's from Fred: Fred Works Out If you laugh at it, then you're just like me and I love you! If you hate it and think it's stupid, then you probably hate me and think I'm stupid....
I want, I want, I want! Me, me, me! Now, now, now!!
When ever I'm feeling whiney and obnoxious I see Dustin Hoffman with bad teeth, in a big black wig saying, "I want, I want, I want! Me, me, me! Now, now, now!!". I'm pretty sure I have a whiney and obnoxious moment at least once a day. I'm quite possibly the only (almost)twent-five year old to throw a tantrum. Not one of those, "I want an oompa-loompa NOW!" tantrums, but one of those whiney, tired tantrums where I just thrash around dramatically like a two-year old in desperate need of a nap. My husband has a heart of gold for looking passed my toddler-like quirks. Here, let me demonstrate the difference in tantrums:
This is a "I want an oompa-loompa nowwwwww!!" Tantrum. This is the typical child-like tantrum. Many mothers would easily recognize this tantrum. You may have seen a young child demonstrate this tantrum in stores such as Walmart.
This is an example of my, much more mature, tantrum. My mature tantrum consists of thrashing and flailing. Not hitting and kicking. (Mostly going back and forth between curling up into a ball on my side and then dramatically throwing myself out onto my back...and then back into a ball again, repeatedly...)
Let's do the math:
Hitting+Kicking=Immature-Child-Like Tantrum
Thrashing+Flailing=Much-More-Mature-Photog-Nazi-Like Tantrum
Now that you are up to date with my tantrums, let me explain why it is that I am having an exceptionally whiney night. After a lovely, and much needed get-together with a friend at Starbucks I stupidly indulged in a slice of Reduce Fat Cinnamon Swirl Coffee Cake. You would think that being "reduced fat" and all that it wouldn't KILL me POINTS® wise. Well it didn't kill them. It MURDERED my points! That "reduced fat" coffee cake made my Weight Watchers POINTS® it's bitch. Why couldn't I just drink my Skinny Vanilla Latte?! Why?! Now I have gone over my daily points allowance by 4pt.'s, and I won't be able to have my bedtime snack. Which will probably mean that I will eat in my sleep. (Yes I eat in my sleep, but that's aWHOLEnother post for ya....) So anyway, I'm sure you could see why I'm cranky, and whiney, and prone to flailing tonight. Now please excuse me while I thrash about....

Camera Phone Pic of the First Sweet Potato I Ever Ate
A photo from the movie "Tremors" of a smashed graboid monster.
They looked ENTIRELY too similiar for my liking...I honestly think that the creator of the movie had a sweet potato obsession. It's creepy. And I don't think I'll ever be able to eat a sweet potato again. At least not without lots of butter and brown sugar. Which defeats the purpose of eating a sweet potato in the first place.
Ew.
Oh My!
This is what happens when you get bored....
you stay up until after midnight redoing your blog design!!
I'm really lovin' the new look though, and it finally has what I had felt it was missing before.
It just might stay around for quite some time.
Yes, yes I like it indeed.
I was definitely a busy little b tonight.

February 27th
That is the day that I will officially be half way to FIFTY!
Only five short years away from THIRTY, and a decade from the big 4-0.
I’m perfectly fine with getting older. I feel like the older I become the more seriously people take me. It’s nice to get less and less of the “Your how old and have how many kids?” look.
I am well aware that I am beyond the “It’s my birthday give me what I want” age. {I think that ends sometime around the time that sleepovers end.} BUT I have every right to make a wish list for my birthday right?
For some reason, every time someone asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I just drew a blank. I couldn’t think of a thing I needed, or even wanted! For some reason immediately following Christmas I started remember everything that I “need” and “want”. So I figure I will share this list as a Birthday List. And then most likely move it on over for my Christmas list.
So here goes: {In no particular order.}
**Edited**
Yudu Personal Screen Printing Machine {You can find that HERE}
***It's a personal screen printer! Who WOULDN'T want that?!?!?!***
Cricut Expressions Machine {You can find that HERE}
Wacom - Bamboo Touch Tablet {You can find that HERE}
***Guys, this it the graphics tablet I was telling you about!***
Canon Wide Angle EF 35mm f/2.0 Autofocus Lens {You can find that HERE}
***This is a wide angle lens I’ve been wanting FOREVER!***
$160 CanvasOnDemand Gift Certificate {You can find that HERE}
***I need to get a canvas of Joshua and Hailey to go along with Leah’s.***
Canon 430EX II Speedlite TTL Shoe-Mount Flash (Guide No. 141'/43 m at 105mm) {You can find that HERE}
***This is a flash I can use for bad lighting situations without getting a yucky “flashed” pic.***
B&H Gift Card {You can find that HERE}
***I could put this towards the 35mm or the speedlight!***
So there we have it. All of the things I should have, and wish I would have asked for, for Christmas. And the things that I would totally flip my lid over were I to receive them on my 25th birthday.
**I removed the Spyder calibration kit, and the Site Grinder software. Just reassessing my priorities I suppose! ^_^**

Moaning Monday {2.22.10}
- How come the days we FINALLY get precipitation, it's not cold enough to snow? It doesn't get over 30° one day, and it's bone dry outside, and then today (although it feels pretty cold at 46ยบ) we're getting loads and loads of rain?! I guess I really shouldn't complain, seeing as how we got two pretty good snows within a couple of weeks of each other.
- Why can't super yummy food be healthier, or healthier food be super yummier? Don't get me wrong, because yes, there is some pretty yummy healthy food. But you just don't get the same warm fuzzies over spinach that you do for a super messy burger. And although it's okay, a burger just isn't the same without cheese and just a tad mayo. It would just be fantabulous to have a chili cheese coney from Sonic® and not have to worry about working out for 2 hours to burn it off.
- Is there some unknown law, unknown to me, that says that siblings cannot agree on anything? Why can't they just agree on something?! ANYthing?! Breakfast, lunch, TV shows, movies, arts&crafts, my kiddo's can't seem to agree on anything. In fact I'm 92% sure that they wait to see what the other wants just to say they want something different. If I could get them to agree on at least ONE thing ONCE a day, my live would be so much easier. But no, everything has to be an argument and a fight.
- Why does network television portray southerners as uneducated, backwoods, idiots, with horrible grammar and fashion issues? Granted yes, I do know many, many southerners that fit that description, but I know northerners that do too! I also know people from the west, and midwest, and southwest, and everywhere else in this country that fit that stereotype! At least we're portrayed with that southern hospitality....usually. Just FYI, I don't wear overalls, I have all my teeth, I barely have a southern accent, I (for the most part) use proper grammar, and we don't live in the backwoods!
I think that's enough moaning for one day. Don't you?
