So you may remember a little confession about my love for some kiddy-pop tunes. Well confession number seven is very similar....
#7 I'm a Disney Channel watchin', Nickelodeon Lovin' Mama!!!
iCarly, Sonny With a Chance, Wizards of Waverly Place, and yes even Hannah Montana....yup, I watch 'em! Not only do I "bare" with them for my kiddo's, I actualy *gulp* ENJOY them! At first it started out like any other kids show, background noise while I got work done. Then I found myself laughing at them. Then I found myself stopping to watch a few minutes. Next thing I know I'm pausing them when I leave room! Then, if pausing wasn't bad enough, I started RECORDING them on the DVR!! I knew I couldn't blame it on the kiddo's anymore when hubby came home last one night and I was sitting on the couch watch iCarly, AFTER the kiddo's had gone to bad...
Now don't knock me! It's actually very entertaining! Do I see oscars in any of the actors careers? No. Not anytime soon. (If ever.) But they're good, fun shows. Sometimes it seems like all of the dramatic "adult" shows are just too much. It's exhausting to watch them! It's always sex, and affairs, and murders, and twists, and turns. NO morals WHAT SO EVER. At least I always know I can watch one of the above shows without having to worry about my kids being in the room. They don't make me feel guilty, there's no Christian bashing, it's just clean humor, and fun stuff. Don't get me wrong, I love Bones, and House, and some of the bad stuff I mentioned, but a lot of topics do bother me. I have yet to be bothered by anything on the Disney and Nick shows. Seriously, if you have never watched them, and you come across an episode, stick around for a little while! I have a sneaking suspicion you won't turn the channel right away!
#8 I ♥ FRED
"Who is Fred?" You ask? THIS is Fred:
I came to know Fred from watching iCarly. He guest starred on the show one day. At first I was confused. "Who is this completely obnoxious kid?!" I thought. "OMG SOOOO Annoying! How could ANYone watch his videos's?!?!" Were other thoughts of mine. But the second or third time I watched the 'iMeet Fred' episode, I found myself laughing. It was just so weird and random! So I decided to Google this Fred character. I literally sat and watched about 10 of his videos. And laughed. A lot. Is his "voice" obnoxious? Yes. Do the video's make any sense what-so-ever? No. You could go on and on about all the things WRONG with the Fred video's. And I'm pretty sure many people have. But Fred is just something you have to "get". You either get it, or you don't. It's that simple. There's many, many things, in my silly life that other people just don't get. I laugh at things other people don't laugh at. I do things that I think are soooo funny, that other people just don't get. Well I get Fred. And I ♥ Fred.

I love Fred too, Brianne!!! Although, no, I cannot watch those kids shows. Just can't do it. Jimmy, on the other hand, seems to love them! Go figure, the woman won't watch but the man will.

so love love love carly! and sam and freddie. do you watch phineas and ferb? that is a great show! but i have to disagree about fred. i detest him! and my kids look him up on youtube and play fred videos till i want to run screaming from the house.
Well Kay, even though you detest Fred, I have faith that you don't hate me, or think I'm stupid! lol
