1. What’s the recipe for your favorite drink? (Smoothie, alchoholic, coffee, whatever.)
Pop a tab on an ice cold can of Diet Coke and you can call me a happy lady. I also love amaretto sours; amaretto, sour mix, and a splash of lemon lime soda. Bahama mama's are a fave, I believe it's OJ, pineapple juice, banana liqueur, coconut rum, and a splash of grenadine. {If I remember correctly, it's been a long time.}
2. What kind of razor do you use?
Intuition. I love not having to lather my big bad boys up. The all-in-one is so much easier and a heck of a lot faster.
3. Who is your favorite Sesame Street character?
When I was little I had a hardcore Grover obsession.
I also thought snuffleupagus, or whatever his name was, was super adorbs. Until his baby sister, Alice, came along. {Total cute city.}
4. What makes the perfect salad? (Lettuce type, toppings, dressing, etc.)
Yummy toppings and a fab dressing. My fave salad of all would probably be Firebirds BLT. It's iceberg and romain lettuce smothered in tomatoes, applewood smoked bacon, and garlic ranch dressing. Super simple, nothing fancy, but oh-so-yum.
5. What was your favorite subject in school?
I hated school. There was nothing I liked. Until I got to college. I actually really enjoyed accounting. Why? I couldn't tell you.
6. What’s your favorite summer tradition?
I actually loathe the Summer. If we're able to make it to the beach it can be on the rad side. But that never happens. We spent a good long 9 days in PA last year. I'd like to make that a new yearly tradition and then I will call that my fave summer tradition. {We weren't able to go this year due to Grayson's impending birth and whatnot.} I do love celebrating Joshua's birthday and one day will add Grayson's to that!
7. Do you suffer from season allergies? How do you combat them?
I didn't until becoming pregnant this time around for some unGodly reason. I'm hoping and praying it's a hormonal thing and that once my body is my own again I will be back to my normal allergy freeness. Allergies SUCK. I can do without the itchy, water eyes and the face pain and congestion. That's for shiz.
8. How often do you have to charge your cell phone?
Too often. My phone has become a battery draining suck hole the past couple of weeks. Draining the battery even faster than usual. Damn smart phones. You think they'd be "smart" enough to conserve. But nope. I gotta charge nightly, sometimes it doesn't even make it that far.
9. Do you have a bucket list?
Why yes. Yes I do.
10. Do you have any desire to go back to school?
I don't want to feel uneducated forever. Of course I want to finish school!

2 days
2 days from now I will be baby mooning with my precious little Grayson!
Word.
There is no beating around the bush, I'm chin deep living in the land of the miserables. Sometimes I'm so deep in the miserables all I can do is purse my lips above the waves of poo and breathe small shallow breathes. I don't even know if any of that makes sense, I'm just drowning in discomfort and can't put into words just how discomforting that discomfort is.
If there is one thing I have learned this last stretch of pregnancy, is that misery loves company. I have been a wicked witch these last few weeks. Completely wretched and I feel for anyone who has crossed my path. I seriously owe my hubby and kiddo's months of kisses and hugs and yummy dinners.
It's so nice knowing that I have finally met the end of this tunnel. It's been a long, dark, long, long, dark, dark, tunnel. It has by far been my hardest pregnancy, yet knowing it's my last I think it's been my most enjoyed. I'm actually thankful that it wasn't all sparkling rainbows and puppy kisses because I think it would make it just that much harder to put these gestational carrying days behind me.
I am living in a land of ow. {Described well in my private baby blog.} And I know in a few short days I'm going to be living in the land of aw.
I'm thinking the blog will go two ways for a while after G's arrival. A} It's going to be a dusty, cobweb covered waste land while I adjust and squeeze back into the newborn lifestyle. or B} It's going to be completely drowned in babyness with updates and pictures and posts.
There's really no way of knowing.
I have a couple of Musical Mondays lined up, and had every intention of having other posts lined up and scheduled to go. But this whole "drowning in misery and poo" and "living in the land of ow" tends to get in the way of said intentions.
Bear with me guys! And if you feel so ever inclined please keep my newest little one and myself in your thoughts and prayers. Positive thoughts and prayers specifically for a safe delivery, and healthy baby of course.
Thank you ever so kindly.

Musical Monday #10
The only thing better than sharing this majestically composed piece of musical genius would be to have the ability to magically go back in time and record my middle school best friend and myself acting out this musical masterpiece. I remember digging out plaid shirts, leather vests, and straw cowboy hats, our acting skills were extraordinary and something to be remembered for all time.
In a fit of nostalgia I searched this amazing song on YouTube and much to my delight there it was in all it's shining glory. Immediately I shared it with said middle school best friend. I envisioned receiving a heartfelt reply with tears and wishes of reenacting our skit dedicated to this song. Alas my facebook wall post sat unloved, to this day it has yet to produce a single comment. {How could you be so callous Seana?!}
Anyhow, I felt this song needed to be shared for all. Or at least those that stumble upon my blog. Without further ado, I give you...

A reminder, IT'S WORTH IT
Life's about to change up in heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeee!!! {<---Said in best Oprah voice, carrying the "here" on for an obnoxious and obscene amount of time.}
Our last babyless weekend is coming to an end...well. Almost. It's the afternoon so the actual "coming to an end" will not be until at least evening hours. But none-the-less...it's the last lazy lazerton Sunday I will have for some time. Because babies don't allow adults to be lazy lazertons.
Have you ever stopped to think about how smug babies are? The sad thing is, it starts IN UTERO. When they're what some people like to refer to as fetus', not even real babies. {They're real babies to me.} Yes, in utero fetus' are SMUG. Smug as shiz. They sit in your uterus all high and mighty, toying with your emotions. "Is that a contraction???", "Am I leaking fluid???", "Oh my gosh is the baby moving enough?", while they float around with smug little smiles all comfortable. They run the show, it's not your body anymore, it's THEIRS. It's their holy vessel bringing them into the world. Do they treat is as a holy vessel? No. They treat it like a free bus ride, and not a nice bus, a rusty bus with gum covered seats and no a/c. They have no respect. Finally when the time comes that they decide to put you out of your misery and go through the whole birthing thing, well HA! The pain is only beginning. {Some little ones are so smug they refuse to leave the floaty comforts of your uterus unless physically forced to do so.}
Then they're born, and they're here, and you're soooo in love with them. And they're beautiful, just beautiful. And you're SO glad to have your body back. But you're sadly mistaken. Because that body is still theirs. And they're HUNGRY. Which means nursing every 2 hours, and sleepless nights, and if they want to be held your SOL in the hand department. You have no free hands. They are now full of BABY. And diapers, and swaddling blankets, and pacifiers. You are now at the beck and call of the floaty little fetus turned crying baby.
Babies are more proof that love is simply an amazing thing. The love that gets you through noxious fuming bed farts from your husband, and morning breath kisses, gets you through cracked nipples, and poopy blow outs. {Then it gets you through screaming Target isle tantrums, and eventually the mouthy teen years.}
There's no coincidence that babies are the cutest things ever. It just melts your heart that much more making you love them that much more and therefore put up with that much more.
The good thing is that smugness turns into dependency and those little buggers love you back just as much as you love them. And that my dear, makes it allll worth it.
I had to compile this post to remind me that it's about to get hard. Hard times FOUR, because not only do I have my needy demanding newborn coming, but I will have 3 other needy and demanding children to cater to. But it will be worth it, because they make me cards that say things like, "WOW I LOVE MY MOM" and they'll tell you that when you turn it upside down it says, "MOM MY LOVE I WOW" which is the coolest ever. And they look up to you. And even when they're being obnoxious little A-holes they so just want to please you and make you proud.
And they give the bestest kisses ever. And make your heart soar so freaking high. You don't even know...
So yea, it's going to get hard, but it's going to get more awesome too. So incredibly awesome.

The Cloth Diaper Experience
Okay, so I have shared with everyone {well, most everyone} that I will be cloth diapering Grayson, I've blogged about it, I'm prepared, and now I'm just waiting for a little tiny bottom to wrap in a cloth diaper!
I have decided to share my entire CD'ing experience on the ye' old blog. I will be sharing the in's and out's, a review of each diaper I use, my opinions, what I love, and what I hate, tips {when I learn them} and literally everything I can think of to share. I spent SO much time googling and searching and googling and reading about cloth diapering. I spent time in forums, and even asked a question or two. I can't tell you HOW many times I was told, check out this, check out that, when all I wanted was opinions and actual experience! That's why I have decided to share my experience. I wanted so badly to have mama's share theirs with me, I thought I should pass it on to those looking for advice, tips, and guidance and experiences. Sometimes you just want the real deal of cloth diapering and what works and what doesn't. Bear with me as I slowly add more and more to the blog. {Who knows, maybe it will end up turning into a whole separate cloth diapering blog one day.}
The battle plan:
I'm going into this with a total of 17 CD's. A mixture of pocket diapers, hybrid diapers, all-in-two diapers, and all-in-one diapers. {Like I said, whichever work best for us will be what we complete our stash in.} I have a dozen cloth wipes ready to go. I will be using Crunchy Clean detergent to clean the CD's. Dirty dipes will be going in a Planet Wise hanging wet/dry bag.
I will begin sharing the experience as soon as his little bum fits in the one size diapers!

Wordless{ish} Wednesday
{I totally need a bib.}
I'm a hot mess. Seriously. LOL We had chicken parm from Mel's fave Italian restaurant Sunday for Father's Day. Of course shortly after we got home I couldn't stay out of the left overs. I made a mess of myself, much like I usually do. I blame pregnancy brain...for now. {But usually I blame my ADD, I see something shiny and my food totally misses my mouth.} Top Mommy Blogs - Vote for us @ TopMommyBlogs.Com!

1. What’s the perfect meal?
Um...anything I don't have to cook! LOL It's hard to say what the perfect meal would be. I could compile the perfect Italian meal {for me], or Japanese, or Mexican, etc. Right now in all my pregnant glory my perfect meal would be the following:
An appetizer of spinach and artichoke dip, Boston Market cornbread, and a BLT salad from Firebird's, a pre-entree of cheese enchiladas, a beautiful cooked medium rare filet paired with a citrus grilled shrimp skewer, accompanied by a loaded baked potato, followed by a dessert of red velvet and blueberry muffin ice cream from Maggie Moo's. Oh holy yumness.
2. What are the perfect pair of shoes?
RocketDogs. Straight up. And there no where to be found these days. At least not in stores. I would have to turn to online shopping. I'm talking specifically about these:
3.What is the perfect afternoon?
Napping. Or swimming. Or better yet, napping on a float in a pool. BOO-YA!
4.What’s the perfect house?
Mine! Okay, yea far from it. 4 or 5 bedroom, 2.5 bath {at least}, with an awesome mud/laundry room, amazing pantry, play room, basement, a dining room with the perfect farmhouse table, gorgeous wood floors throughout, exposed wood beams, rustic stone fireplaces, I could go on. {You can check out my "The Makings of my Dream Home" board HERE on Pinterest to get a good idea. ;) }
5.What is the perfect outfit?
Something cute, but comfy that I could wear out or in. I'm a jeans and tee kinda girl so something like this {minus the heels}:
6.What’s the perfect wedding song?
My wedding song! DUH! {Your Guardian Angel-The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus} There are many songs I've heard though where I've thought, "That would be a great wedding song.", but I can't think of anything in particular at the moment.
7.What is the perfect job?
For who? Me? You? Anybody's perfect job is something they truly enjoy and are passionate about. I heard {actually read} a saying recently, "The work you do while you procrastinate is probably the work you should be doing for the rest of your loife....". Completely agree. Take your passion and make a career out of it! I love being a stay-at-home mom right now and don't want to do anything else. But I see myself in graphic design and photography full-time one day. It's my pure heart & soul and what I would truly love doing.
8.What’s the perfect hairstyle?
I love messy, flowy curls. Something so beautiful that looks so easy, yet I have yet to be able to perfect! lol I always end up throwing my hair up into a pony tail at some point through out the day, so any cute pony tail is perfection to me.
9.What’s the perfect music festival?
? My music tastes are so eclectic, so any crazy combination of styles and era's of music would do my ears some good.
10.What’s the perfect day to yourself?
When I find the {almost non-existent} day to myself I usually end up sleeping. Or doing NOTHING. Perfection would be getting my hair and nails done, a massage, magically coming across the perfect outfit, indulging in delicious foods along the way, finding an amazing book and having time to read it, preferably in a hammock swaying on a warm day with a cool breeze with a cold mango margarita in hand. The only thing to make those events more perfect would be doing them with my hubby. Who magically enjoyed them as much as I. ^_^

I'm not big on country. At all. My hubby is though so listening to it is inevitable sometimes. There are a few songs here and there I absolutely love. This is the newest.

Moaning Monday: Aggravation
Things that have been aggravating the CRAP out of me lately.
1 Children's shows that portray some animals with human characteristics. I.E. Walking upright, wearing clothes, speaking. But in the same show portray other animals the way they actually are in, all their animalistic glory.
2 People with no filters. Apparently the old saying, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." just doesn't exist these days. No one seems to know when to keep their mouth shut anymore. If you have an opinion, that isn't asked upon, please, please keep it to yourself.
3 Waking up from a nap, feeling worse than you did when you laid down! My head hurts, my pelvis, hip, and back are screaming in pain, all i want is to close my eyes and rest my body for 10, 15, 30 minutes, by some miracle Leah drifts off. Here's my chance! I lay down in bed, and fall asleep in seconds. The next thing I know, I'm waking up, an hour later, feeling even worse. My head is pounding even harder, my hips are screaming even louder. W. T. F.
4 Craving things that I can't even lick, let alone eat. Today I've been craving cake. Any cake. Birthday cake, coffee cake, cake pops, cupcakes, chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, yellow cake with buttercream frosting, just CAKE. Cake is a double whammy, because it's a sugary, carb ridden starchy, spongey, bready...well...CAKE, covered in SUGAR. I've also been fighting a killer cravings for a mint and chocolate combo. Mostly York Peppermint Patties, but Andes Mints aren't off the table. I thought the whole point of a pregnancy craving was to provide you with something your body needed. For example, if you needed a certain vitamin you would crave whatever food is rich in that that vitamin. Well, there's nothing I need in cake, and really, cake is noting but detrimental to me right now!!! It's completely unfair for me to crave it this badly...
5 Pretty much everyone and everything is aggravating the ever loving poop out of me at this point. I can't call anyone without them asking, "Are you okay? How are you feeling?" hinting around to, "Are you in labor???". I can't stand it. Therefore I've stopped calling people. I'm pretty much the moodiest bitch on the face of the planet. I bite everyone's head off and then spit them back at them when they complain about my crankiness. I am a sea beast and just need to be left alone. I feel so, so, soooooo sorry for my poor kiddos and hubby who get the brunt of my rage these days. If you have kids, and aren't one of those sick woman who had a glorious misery free pregnancy, than you totally know the last couple of weeks are the hardest. I blame my hormones. And also the whole, "Misery loves company." saying too.
On the bright side, I'm spoiled rotten for having such miniscule things to bitch & moan about I must say....

Pregnancy Weight
Most woman gain weight during pregnancy. That's just how pregnancy goes! You're carrying, creating, and growing another human being. With that comes extra calories, water weight, etc. The average weight gain is 30lb's. Broken down like this:
Baby-7.5lb's
Placenta-1.5lb's
Amniotic Fluid-2lb's
Uterine Englargement-2lb's
Maternal Breast Tissue-2lb's
Maternal Blood Volume-4lb's {Holy crap, you gain 4lb's just in BLOOD?!}
Fluids in Maternal Tissue-4lb's
Maternal Fat Stores-7lb's
=30 pounds overall weight gain
Some, like me, experience horrid morning sickness or hyperemesis and lose in the beginning, or just don't gain very much. With my first pregnancy I gained between 35 and 40lb's. {More than what's recommended, but nothing outrageous like the 90lb's I've heard of some gaining.} With Hailey I only gained 7lb's. She was 7lb's 13oz. A week after she was born I was 30lb's lighter than when I got pregnant. With Leah? I lost 40 lb's. This time around? So far I am down 35lb's.
Yes. I have lost 35lb's since becoming pregnant waaaaay back in September. Don't worry, I definitely had it to lose!
We all know how incredibly sick I was the first half of my pregnancy. I was S I C K with a capital S. I couldn't hold anything down! I lost most of the weight then. But even after being able to hold food down, I just wasn't gaining. In fact I was still losing roughly a pound a week! I've maintained over the past month or two for the most part. Only losing about 3lb's this last trimester.
People constantly tell me how I just glow in pregnancy and how gorgeous I am! It was hard to see a difference. Until I looked back at pictures.
HOLY $#IT.
Yes, that was an S-bomb. I'm sorry but it calls for one. Seriously. See for yourself...
I was big. Not just big. I was BIG. Seriously. I knew it. I saw my weight creep up. I saw my pant size creep up. But I was so in denial. I told myself that I was okay with being fat. And that may be the case to the point. I don't mind not being skinny. But I NEVER, and I do mean NEVER want to be that fat again. It is NOT a good look for me. lol
I was at the heaviest I have ever been in my entire life when I became pregnant in September. In fact my BMI and weight were so high it's a miracle I was able to even become pregnant. I don't think I even realized how lucky I was.
I feel really lucky and blessed to have been able to drop this weight, literally effortlessly, and still carry, not only a healthy baby, but a BIG baby. I truly feel like I've been given a gift. A second chance. That people just don't get. And I will tell you this, I am NOT taking it for granted.
Being diagnosed with gestational diabetes has been a wake up call for me. It is a preview into the future. My future. My DEFINITE future if I don't get my weight under control. My BMI was a staggering 43.3. WELL, WELL over the obese number of 30. It has dropped to 37.2, still "obese" but I'm 9 months pregnant. If I lose the 30lb's I am projected to lose after giving birth my BMI should be 32.1. Still "obese", but close enough to just "overweight" for me. :)
I'm not vowing to a life of calorie counting and daily gym visits. But I AM vowing to a healthier lifestyle. My eating habits have already changed so much with the gestational diabetes. I plan on continuing the diet, only incorporating a few more carbs than I've been allowed.
I will say this. I actually love looking at my "fat" pics. lol And then looking at my skinnier pics. And looking at my skinnier face. It's nice. :) And I want to continue that feeling of accomplishment! Seriously, the other day I broke out my "before pregnancy" pants. Not only could I get them on, I could button them. Yes, I could button my non-maternity pants around my 9 months pregnant belly. I was excited, but at the same time I was mortified. Simply sickened that I had allowed myself to have ever fit in those jeans. I seriously want to burn them. I put on jeans I had worn, and could no longer wear, that were WAY too small, and while I couldn't button them, I was only an inch or so away, and there were at least 2" of extra fabric on each thigh. I'm SUPER excited to see what size I will be once my belly goes down! I'll definitely post an update. :)

Some, like me, experience horrid morning sickness or hyperemesis and lose in the beginning, or just don't gain very much. What I'm Loving Wednesday!
Today, I am L♥VING...
"the belly elevation innovation"
Oh you know you're jealous of the hotness that oozes from those support boyshorts! Seriously though, those things are freaking awesome sauce, no. They're better than that. They're like super amazing fantastical chicken wings dripping in awesome sauce. They're the only reason I'm alive right now. They call themselves "support" boyshorts, but they're more like, "gravity defying pain relief" boyshorts. And I heart them with every fiber of my being.
+
Tums + Milk= No holes in my esophogus. About a week ago the fluids in my gastric symptoms were mysteriously replaced with lava. No. Flippin'. Joke. I am a lava monster. And I'm guessing I have to have some super hero somewhere in my genetics because somehow my body is able to hold and sustain lava. The Tums + Milk definitely helps though. I must say.
Crunchy Clean
I bought this to wash and prep my cloth diapers, but have been using it on all of our laundry because I ran out of our regular stuff and had this on hand. And I just must say that this stuff smells sooooo dang good I seriously want to eat my clothes. I have the Pink Sugar scent which is described as: "A fruity blend of cotton candy, lemon drops, caramel and raspberry jam...". It comes in other scents, like Monkey Stinkers {Totally used to be called Monkey Farts, which made me want to buy it for the name alone...} it's described as: "fresh bananas and juicy grapefruit, middle notes of kiwi, juicy bubblegum, and strawberries; and a hint of vanilla". Yea no Tide or Era smells here, we've got yummy frutiness. And it's cheap too! The vanilla lavender smells divine as well. It may be my next purchase.Revlon Top Speed in "Stormy"
I'm loving nail polish these days! My latest purchase is this little body of stormy gray goodness. I love it. And it dries super mega quickly which is a must because I don't have time to wait for paint to dry. It's a grand color I must say. And super cheapo. It doesn't last long, which stinks, but because it dries so dang fast it's really not a hastle to touch it up once a day. I'm sure if I added a top coat it would last longer. But that would require more energy than I'm willing to commit at this time.Top Mommy Blogs - Vote for us @ TopMommyBlogs.Com!
Musical Monday #8
What is your happy song? What song can you not help but get happy when you hear?? Even just the first 3 chords and you've got a smile on your face...those are the best.
I've got a few.
One of the first to pop in my head though?
Ah, Journey. Ya damn right. If I'm down it usually takes about 30 seconds of this song to raise my spirits. And I can't help but to blast it as loud as I can handle, and sing along at the top of my lunges.
It makes me happy.
What is one of your happy songs?

I believe...
That downloading the Blogger app to my phone is going to increase my blog posts. May be wishful thinking, but one can hope!
For instance I can share pics like this....
Graysons chubby hand. His arm already has a fat roll in utero people!! Gotta love chunkiness....
losing my religion
This is really hard for me to talk about. But I feel like it needs to be out there. Because someone may be going through the same thing, or maybe someone has something that could help my heart in healing...
For the past year, I have struggled considerably with my faith. Let me start from the beginning...I was raised in church, gave my life to Christ at 15, and after years of struggle I rededicated my life and was baptized in May of 2007. We went to church, as a family every Sunday. I loved the music and worship and it really gave my life happiness, joy and fulfillment! After attending that particular church for a year I decided it was time to find a new church home. I wasn't as happy as I thought I could be. It was a HUGE church, and great for new believers, but I wanted to move on and join an actual church family. I wanted a chance for close relationships, and I wanted to see people I knew every week. We ended up finding the perfect church. It was everything I wanted. It was bigger, but not so big that you felt lost in the crowd. It was progressive, had an amazing message, and music, and I made awesome friends! For the first time, I really became involved in church. I volunteered, joined life groups, attended every event I could. I LOVED the church and my church family.
I'm not really sure where things started slipping. I can't say it was the church. {Even though I tried to blame the church, or really anything other than myself at that time.} The church hadn't changed though. I had. Looking back, I believe it was just a depression that turned everything around.
I remember being on my knees, begging God in prayer, and for the first time instead of feeling better and okay, I felt...alone. I had never felt alone before and it was terrifying. I didn't feel my God anymore. I felt empty, that I no longer was his temple. I felt abandoned. And immediately I felt angry.
I was angry at God for leaving me feeling this way. I was angry at God for all the unanswered prayers. I was angry at God for EVERYTHING.
I didn't want to feel this way. So I reached out and started reading my bible. I think this only made things worse. I felt like everything I was raised to believe in had turned into a fairy tale. How could I have possibly believed any of those fairy tales??? I asked myself. I started hating being around Christians, and scoffed at their faith, and what I thought was ignorance. I think though, I was really jealous, and in pain from what I had lost.
I hated life. I hated the judgement and prejudice I constantly saw around me. I hated everybody. And I hated God. I was so incredibly hurt. All I could tell myself was, "If that's the God that created me, I don't want him anymore.".
It took me a long time, well any time feeling the misery I felt feels like a long time, for me to realize that everything I was mad about wasn't God. It was man. It was man who had betrayed me and left me feeling abandoned and alone. It was man who pointed their finger with their judgements and prejudices. It was MAN who screwed everything up. NOT GOD.
I began looking at God in a different way. As a parent. I'm a parent, so it was easy to relate. He sent his son to die for us. And I truly believe that. I truly believe that Jesus Christ took our sins upon himself so that we could be made clean and have everlasting life with Him. I began looking at Jesus from a parent's perspective. I would take my life in an instant for my children.
It was then that I felt my relationship had changed. And afterwards I found it easier to love my God.
I am still struggling, but I no longer feel empty and alone. I do feel like my God is with me, helping me through the struggles of an evil world. And I know I wouldn't have made it this far without him. I love my children UNCONDITIONALLY and this has helped me in regaining my faith because I know that God loves ME unconditionally. I know there's nothing I can do, or have done that would make God not love me. I may do things that don't make him proud, my kids have disappointed me before too, but I know he will always love me no matter what.
My anger and frustration is no longer with God. It is with man. And most particularly other Christians. So, I'm still struggling there. I'm still struggling with church. But I will say, that I am SO blessed to have been part of the church I've been a part of for so long because I truly believe they are the perfect church for someone going through what I'm going through. I haven't gone hardly while I've been going through this. But I did go twice recently, and would love more than anything to go more, right now it's my health and pregnancy keeping me from going, and not my anger towards God.
A lot of my beliefs have changed. But I think in doing so, I've become a better person. But the important things, accepting Christ as my savior hasn't changed. It has only grown stronger, and I feel like I no longer have a religion but a relationship with Christ.
I've found myself opening my mind to things I was so hateful and closed minded about. I'm pushing myself to love people the way Jesus does. All I can do is shake my head and say a prayer for those who use their "faith" and "love" for Christ as a reason to hate and judge others. Honestly, it makes me sick... but I'm not going there, that's not what this is about...
I look forward to growing this relationship, and sharing it with others. And I look forward to rejoining my church family as soon as possible! Because they're everything I wish everyone could be! They are so open and loving to anyone and everyone, and I've yet to see them judge. They wear shirts that say, "No perfect people allowed." for crying out loud!
So...there's my story. I hope it can help someone that's maybe going through the same thing.

1. What type of phone do you have? Do you like it?
I have an htc Evo Shift. I have a love/hate relationship with it. I love it, and all it's bells and whistles and apps and all that jazz. But it's got some unloveable quirks. I.E. $#itty battery life, turning off and on by itself for no reason, and sometimes my chubster cheek ends calls because of the touch screen. I wouldn't trade it for anything though. {Other than an iphone.} Sprint needs an iphone. Verizon just ain't my bag.
2. How old were you when you got your first cell phone?
Hm. I know I got my pager for Christmas when I was 14...shortly after I got my first cell. So 15??? I only used it to answer pages though. {Mostly.} I was spoiled. My mom paid the bill. I bought and paid for my own at 16 though.
3. How many cell phones have you owned since your first?
Hot damn. A lot. Let me count...1...crappy LG phone...2...nokia cricket...3...verizon LG...4...another verizon, can't remember the kind...5...ancient nextel radio...6...bumblebee nextel flip phone/radio {wooo ring tones!}...7...newer, non flip nextel radio {wooo color screen!}...8...blue and silver flip nextel phone/radio...got a snazzy pink cover for blue and silver flip nextel phone/radio...9...motorola razr {woooo CAMERA phone!}...went through a few covers for the razr...10...samsung instinct {woooo touch screen!}...11...blackberry curve {woooo apps!}...12...htc evo shift {wooo touch screen AND android market} I think that wraps it up! So...12{'ish it's quite possible I forgot one along the way...}
4. How much is your average monthly phone bill?
For mine and the hubby's we pay $160 a month. {Unlimited cell to cell, 1500 minutes to share, unlimited web and text, I don't even know what else.}
5. When you were a kid/teenager, were you allowed to have a phone in your room?
I had my own phone line. In my room. Damn. I really was spoiled at that point.
6. Do you like talking on the phone or do you despise it? Or somewhere in-between?
I do NOT enjoy talking on the phone. Not even a little bit. Hating the phone was a learned behavior. But it's stuck with me, and now I can't kick it. I also can't stand being around other people when they're talking on their phones. I never answer my phone. EVER. And only call if I HAVE to. I'm just not a chit-chatter. {Unless I love you and miss you, then I will talk to you FOREVER!♥} I'm a hardcore texter.
7. Do you text a lot? Is texting/talking while driving illegal where you live? Are you guilty of it anyway?
Like I said above, I am a hardcore texter. HARD. CORE. Okay, not really because I've heard of preteens like breaking records and that's not even close to what I've accomplished. But I am a texter none-the-less. More so than a talker.
Texting while driving is illegal where I live, as it should be!
Heavens no I'm not guilty of it! I'm not a dumbass. And if you text and drive you're a dumbass. And if you're offended than don't text and drive. I text at stop lights, and if the light turns green, my phone is put down and not picked up again until I'm at a stop. {I saw that scary as video circulating about texting and it scarred me for life. Not to mention that I usually have at least one of my babies with me, and their lives so aren't worth a friggin' text.}
8. What sort of texting keyboard does your phone have? Touch screen, slide out, or something different? Do you care?
I have a touch screen and a slide out. I use both, but more so I use the slide out. {Less typos that way. ;) }
9. Look at the last call in your call log – who is it? What were they calling about? Who calls you the most?
My last call was to my hubby. I call him all day. For random stupid things. Because I miss him a lot. He's my only exception to the whole "hating to talk on the phone" thing. {I probably aggravate the poops out of him.}
10. What is the longest phone call you can recall having?
Ohhhh you know...those long middle/high school talks with your little middle/high school sweethearts! Seriously, my longest convo was 8 or 9 hours long. Pa-the-tic. But it was "l♥ve". {Bahahaha!} (Actually I did end up marrying the guy and having kids with him...you know...in my defense...but we also divorced...lol)

This Before That 2011
Chelsea, at ♥The Paper Mama did a fun list last year of things she wanted to and accomplish over the next 365 days. {She rocked it and did all but 4 things!} She is doing another "MY this before that list..." this year and has invited others to do the same and to link-up!
I thought it was brilliant. There's always that list of things I'd love to do, but they always seem to be forgotten. I'm hoping getting them down, and in public will push me to complete them! Some of them are "cheap & easy", some are actually going to be hard work, either way, I'd love to see this list 100% accomplished by this time next year!

Musical Monday #7
Been a few music free Mondays no? Well here ya go, just when ya thought they were no more, I bring you...Who woulda thought you could whistle and snap your fingers to a jolly little tune about running from bullets? I love this song. It gets stuck in my head, and I sing it for days. And I STILL love it. That's saying something.
♫♪All the other kids with the pumped up kicks you'd better run, better run, outrun my gun.
All the other kids with the pumped up kicks you'd better run, better run, faster than my bullet.♪♫
All the other kids with the pumped up kicks you'd better run, better run, faster than my bullet.♪♫
What are you listening to these days?

not true...
This is half true, but also untrue. OTHER people's pins may be such things. But yours don't have to be! I pin actual things from my home, and things I would love to, and actually plan on doing one day. I pin clothes I can't wait to buy and wear after G comes. {The clothes I pin come from Forever 21, Torrid, and Old Navy, SO NOT expensive.} I may be lazy, but I'm never too lazy for recipes and crafts. ;) And I LOVE taking photos and love getting inspiration from ones I see pinned. Quotes I see and love I pin to share with others. You don't have to come up with something to find it witty and shareable.
Don't be such Debbie Downers! Geeze! Just sayin'...
You can see my pins {HERE}, and please comment and share your links with me! I'd love to follow. ;)

the little things.
Just a few little things that I want to remember from this time:
Leah- She's just a few months shy of 3 and at that age where everything she says and does is just hilarious. This kid LOVES dancing. She will dance to anything and everything. Commercials, jingles, background music in movies, even "sad" music. If she hears a tune, it moves her. Literally. She loves watching any sort of dancing on TV as well. I love her "moves", I melt and crack up all at the same time! Leah is my most cuddly kiddo of all. She still loves being held and cuddled, and is constantly telling me she loves me out of the blue. Some things I just don't want to forget {cute or not} from this time:
•She and Mel go back and forth, "I love you", "I love you too", "I love you three", four, five, etc. Lately she has started saying, "I love you seven" out of the blue.
•After a HELLACIOUS grocery store trip, Leah later came up to me and apologized! I was shocked and SO in love with my thoughtful little girl!
•"Yes it are."- Yes it is. and "No my not!."- No I'm not.
•"I'm not a kid! I'm a Leah!".
•"You don't have to be so bossy!" {Complete with an eye roll.}
Hailey- My valley girl. The other day in 100% valley girl accent she declared: "Kay Kay is soooo beatiful." Complete with a hair toss and then a lengthy explanation on how she {Kay Kay} does her make-up so perfectly. Hailey is just a girl's girl. She's 6 going on 16, and I'm not really liking that. We're already struggling with clothes and what's appropriate and what's not. I hate this fight, and honestly don't know where she gets this idea that showing skin is not only okay, but "cool". We're trying our best to nip it in the bud now. I hate how self conscious she is. Although when I tell her how beautiful/gorgeous she is, she smiles and says, "I know.". That? I love. I want her to always feel that way. But she's starting to complain about "hairy legs" and how her legs are "bigger" than her friends. I hate this. It's hard to remember she's a rising first grader and not 5th grader. I want my little girl to stay a little girl! It's seriously enough for me to rethink public school. I'm also in disbelief that she's a RISING FIRST GRADER. She has {nearly} completed her first year of school! She has done AMAZINGLY well this year. I'm blown away by here reading and only wished she enjoyed it as much as her brother and I do. Some things I don't want to forget from this time:
•"I know it's a boy." Hailey SO called it! She new Grayson was a boy and wasn't afraid to tell anyone and everyone. She would often say she hoped for a girl, but knew it was a boy anyway. Sure enough, he turned out to be all boy.
•Leah fell asleep on the floor in the living room. "Does she have a paci in her mouth?" I asked Hailey. "Yea, she does." She answered. "Huh, I wonder how she got that...". Hailey's response? "Maybe a paci fairy flew in and put it in her mouth." And this wasn't a cute little idea from the imagination of a 6 year old. This was a sarcastic, cheeky, smarta$$ answer! Complete with side-eye. I couldn't help but laugh. {And feel stupid.}
•On scabs in the shower: "When you get in the shower God heals it, it goes up in the air. It's invisible when it goes up in the air, that's why you can't see it. He makes it invisible."
Joshua- My oldest is SO incredibly encouraging and thoughtful! Joshua is definitely going to be a humanitarian when he grows up. Once he told me that he hopes to go to college and get a great paying job so that he could afford to buy a truck, fill it with blankets, clothes, and food, and deliver things to the needy. He also said he wants to volunteer to build shelters for homeless. My boy seriously has a heart of gold. Pure gold. He doesn't have a mean or hateful bone in his body. I can't even begin to convey how proud of him I am. He was on A/B honor roll the ENTIRE year this school year. THE ENTIRE YEAR. He also completed his first year of EOG testing with 3's and 4's. Seriously blows me away. This is all while facing OCD and ADHD, challenges he has faced and fought through since the beginning of Pre-K. Some things I don't want to forget from this time:
•While helping me cook dinner one night, I asked him to retrieve a jar of mushrooms from the cupboard. "What are these for mom?", he asked nervously, I was busy reading a recipe, and scurrying around collecting ingredients and didn't answer right away. "Mom? What are the mushrooms for?", again, in my own little world, muttering under my breath each ingredient, I delayed answering him, finally, "Mom, I'm getting concerned...". That stopped me in my tracks. I couldn't help but laugh.
•At my nieces preschool graduation last week he started cheering, clapping, and whistling loudly as the preschoolers collected their diplomas. He didn't start doing this until after his cousin had collected hers. "What are you doing love?" I asked. "Brinley had so many people cheer mom! They all deserve that, I'm just encouraging them.". {Talk about heart meltage!}
•"I don't have a whole lot of friends mom, but you know what? That's okay, because I've got two AWESOME friends. Jesus and God. They'll always have my back. Huh mom?". That they will my boy!
•He gives the BEST massages. Seriously. I'm not just saying that. It amazes me. I've had adults try and give my shoulders a rub and he blows them out of the water. It is truly a gift.
I can't believe that in a few short months I'm going to be the mom of a newborn, 3 year old, 6 year old, and 9 year old. How did this happen??? I seriously vow to start doing this more, and writing more about who they are in these years where they are growing and changing so quickly!
All I can say is that I'm over the moon in love with my kids and have to give myself a pat on the back because they are AMAZING and I made them. They are beautiful perfection, so incredibly funny, intelligent, and caring. All of them so.

My first quilt...
After coming across this super cute, and seemingly easy tutorial from Bijou Lovely, I decided I must enlist the help of my mother and make Grayson a quilt! I showed her the tutorial and she said it was definitely something we could do. We made a list of supplies and ran to our local fabric shop {who was having a sale} to gather everything we would need. Unfortunately their fabric selection was, well, to be honest, CRAP. So we got the batting, and pins, and binding, and everything else we needed while we were there. I knew I wanted flannel on the back for the softness, and I new I wanted super cute fabrics. I was able to find the white fabric at a craft store, but still had no luck with the rest of the fabrics. So of course I took to etsy.
That's where I finally found the PERFECT fabric. Or so I thought...just before ordering I really did find the most perfect fabric. This lovely set:
It. Was. PERFECT! I was super excited about the quilt now, even more so after the fabric came! But, there's always a but, I couldn't find the right flannel for the back. I wanted white with gray dots. I didn't think that was too much to ask for. But for some reason I couldn't find it. FINALLY, as luck would have it, I stumbled across EXACTLY what I was looking for from fabric.com. It was even by the same designer as the rest of the fabric. It was pricey, but at this point I didn't care.
I was just super excited to finally be able to get started. And get started is what we did!
Eeeeeeeeeee!
We started {HERE}, made it to here:
And finished here:
I am head over heels in love with this quilt. It is perfection to me. Yea, there's a LOT wrong with it. A lot. But I MADE IT! I spent almost a whole week of super special quality time with my mom making it. And every imperfection is MY imperfection and just makes this blanket even more special to me. I want to make 3 more. One for each kiddo. I wish I had done this forever ago. I had no idea how much I would love it! I hope Grayson loves and cherishes this blanket as much as I will over these next few years. It already holds memories that I cherish, and I can only imagine how many more memories will be made...

woe is me...
I've seen, and read, and follow blogs. "Mom" blogs. By moms who are having their first, or second babies. {Sometimes even 3rd or 4th.} These mom's continue blogging, joyfully, and cheerfully, all the way up to the 40th, and in some cases 41st week of their pregnancy. Posting photos of their ginormo bellies, somehow still looking gorgeous and refreshed. Somehow smiling. I am not that person. I am just not that mom. {Or that blogger.} I'm just not.
My blog name has the word "nazi" in it, so that should clue you in to that fact that I'm not a sunshine and rainbows kind of person to begin with. So even I don't think I could ever be that mom, or that blogger. It's just not in my genetic make-up.
Ladies and gents, I'm freaking miserable. I'm so miserable, that I'm past the whole "caring" that other people have it worse, and would love to trade places with me. I really. Don't. Care. {Okay, I DO care. A little bit.} I am thankful that I'm still baking my little cupcake, and not sitting by his side in the NICU praying he reaches the next milestone, praying he passes the next test. I am thankful that I have been blessed with the ability to carry children when some woman have had that stolen from them. I am thankful that despite a high-risk pregnancy, I am not on bed rest, and taking medication with horrifying side effects in hopes of just staying pregnant a little longer.
Those things are the only things that are getting me by. Otherwise I would just be spending the next 29 days in bed. And even though I've been contemplating it, and it's oh-so-tempting, I'm not. I'm going to get up and out of bed and feel thankful. No matter how miserable I am.
I'm just so miserable. More so than I thought I would ever feel while still having SO much time to go. {4 weeks1 day OR 29 days.} My pelvis, back, and hips, {especially my left hip} are in so much pain. It's excruciating at times. I'm not a big dramatic, OW OW OW person, and still it has literally brought me to my knees in "owness", causing a big dramatic wail and/or screech/holler of pain. It's wretched. My doctor blames an abundance of prostaglandin's or some $#it. Something your body releases to loosen your pelvis so that you can more easily pass your watermelon sized baby through your not-so-watermelon sized pelvis. And this is bull$#it because I'm not even going to be pushing my watermelon out. My body should friggin' KNOW this and cut me some freaking slack. But does it? Hell no. Instead it leaves me in agony.
I'll spare the rest of the gory details, like lightning crotch, and how I feel like Grayson's head is going to pop out if I stand too quickly, or the ripping sensation I get in and around my cesarean scars, the heartburn that is burning through my esophugus, {It's a wonder it hasn't burnt completely through by now, leaving me with an opening straight to my throat hole. I feel like I'm thisclose to using a robotic voicebox.} the constant hunger cravings without the ability to eat what I wish, starving, but feeling full after 5 bites, then starving again 15 minutes later, peeing then feeling like I have to pee again before I even make it out of the bathroom, waking up in fear that my bladder will burst, taking several minutes to roll to a position in which I can actually get to a sitting position and get out of my bed {without waking up Mel with my moans of pain}. Yea... I'll spare you.
I wasn't even able to enjoy a gift of a pampering afternoon pedicure. Driving to the pedicure was misery in 90 degree weather without a/c, but I was so enthusiastic to have this much needed relaxing experience I pushed through, not caring how hot and sweaty I was. I couldn't even sit all the way through my pedicure without pain. And having to position my toesies and feetsies so that she could massage and paint them was not an easy feat. Even while sitting in a chair that was heated and massaging I couldn't get comfortable, and because I can't even touch my knees together, I had to maneuver myself in a way that she could do one foot at a time. It was embarrassing. And not the experience I hoped for in the slightest. And I'm pretty sure that the paint on my toes are going to be chipped and my heels will be once again be crusty by the time L&D time rolls around. Which also defeats the purpose of the pedi. {I swear your feet become crusty twice as fast in pregnancy.}
I am taking comfort in the fact that we are now officially in June and that sometime this month, even if it's the 30th, I WILL meet my little boy and this will all be a distant and quickly forgotten memory. {I hope it's not completely forgotten, I will need these memories every time I long for another newborn to hold and cuddle.}
I feel like I'm back tracking to the time when I was throwing up and nauseated 24/7. I'm just not up for blogging. All I can think about and talk about is having this baby, and being pregnant. I have found my posts becoming further apart. So the blog may be a little dead over the next month. But I will pop in here and there for an update or two, or at least try to.
Mostly I will just be trying to stay busy, and out of bed.
Wish me luck folks and please send positive thoughts and prayers my way! 29 days can seem like a loooooooong time when you're in misery.
