Please Excuse the Mess
Things will be up and running soon I promise. :0)
Teeny Weeny Mini Posts
One of which being my new Mini Posts.
Sometimes I have just small random tidbit things that I'd like to post, so I thought that would be a grand lil way to share them with my world.
Unfortunately you won't be able to get them in your inbox, or feeder like my regular posts, but I think that's what makes them fun. You HAVE to stop by to read them. Therefore FORCING you to view my page. Muahahaha!

IF you have been unfortunate to miss my first two mini-posts, here they are in all they're boring glory:
"My sister (D) called me today and asked me if I could blog about a super cool place, even if I hadn't eaten there before. She makes me laugh. The funniest thing, she couldn't remember the name of this super cool fro-yo place that she was wanting me to blog about. I told her I'll be glad to blog about it!....after i try it myself. Or at least get a name."
"So I leave the gym and what do I see? B-e-a-utiful, white, and HUGE snowflakes, falling gently from the sky! It was so perdiful. I'm thinkin', "This is NC, we NEVER get snow!", and I'm all thankful and happy-like about FINALLY getting some flakage. I get home, and what do I see? Nothing. Nothing at all. Oh beautiful wintery snow, why have you forsaken me?!"
So there you are, I gave you those two, but from now on it's up to you to stay with it and stop by every once in a while.
COMING SOON!!
Keep your eyes open for pre-made templates, as well as information on how to have your own blog custom designed.
Like the new look around here? It's a Busy.B design!
Ho now!!!!
It's 10:30pm and I just realized, I didn't blog today!
Oh my darn it I think I'm going to have a panic attack...
Okay maybe not, maybe that's just the pizza I shouldn't have had for dinner. (I had two of the smallest of small pieces I swear...)
Anywho...
As miserable as this week has been, it has flown by! I can't believe tomorrow is Friday already....that means only a little more than a day until it's circus time!! We're going Saturday morning to The Ringling Brothers and Barnum&Bailey circus!! I remember taking Joshua a couple of years ago, but that was not the 3-ring circus so it didn't have all the cool stuff, just some of the cool stuff. No tigers and all that mess. Well Saturdays show is the big deal! AND it will be Hailey's first time! So, yea, I'm SUPER excited. I love me some circus schtuff's!! I think it brings out the kiddo's in all of us. Am I right? And to see that sparkle in my kiddo's eyes while they watch the
I almost feel bad that the babies have to miss out on it. (Don't worry Lele and Mi, your time will come!)
Soooo...on to todays Thankful Thursday post.
After the week I have spent changing diaper after diaper because of diarrhea in my wee one (caused by an antibiotic for a sinus infection), I am so very thankful for Boudreaux's Butt Paste. Yes, that is the actual name. And I'll tell you what this stuff is FIERCE on diaper rash. It is the MMA fighter of diaper rash creams. Desitin and Balmex don't wanna go head to head with this guy cause they'll get knocked the frick out. Got boys? (Or even a husband?) Take it with you the next time you hit up the beach. Those rashes they tend to get on their manly parts from sand that decides to invade their britches, well this stuff will fix them up all nice like. Trust me, after 3 kiddo's, I know what works, and this crap WORKS. I wouldn't have survived the past week without it. Heck I probably wouldn't have survived the past 7 years without it!
What are you most thankful for today?
I feel the winds of change....
LoL, how sad is that? I haven't done a THING. Ughh...I just can't seem to get my vision to come together. I'm having a hard time deciding what "The Photog Nazi" is visually. It's incredibly frustrating. It's beyond the valley of frustrating. I'm getting down right sick and tired of it. I'm thisclose to deleting everything and just using a blogger template for now. Maybe if I start with a clean slate I can start visually putting together what I would like.
It SERIOUSLY makes me want to pull my hair out. I KNOW I want to keep it simple. I KNOW I want it so scream "Photog Nazi", or at least "Brianne". Other than that I DON'T know.Ugh....
So anyway, YES, I will have a new thing goin' on here eventually. When? I don't know.
I do know this, if I had to look at that stupid tree one more time I was going to flip OUT. Same goes for the stupid bar of randomness.
Tasty Tuesdayisms
That's not something you hear very often...you hear "Happy Birthday/>Insert Holiday Here<", "Merry" this, and of course there's TGIF! But you don't often hear, "Happy Tuesday!". I just think that Tuesdays can be under-appreciated at times. But you know, even sadder than that is Monday. EVERYone hates Monday. Monday gets no love. Wednesday is infamously known as "Humpday" and Thursday is almost Friday, but I really think that Monday and Tuesday get the short end of the deal. Don't even get me started on Saturday, and Sunday. Those lucky bastardo's get all the glory. They're like the honorary king and queen of days. Honestly they seem rather smug to me, just saying. Sunday is all "I'm the Sabbath day, the day for worship!", Saturday is all fun and games with the sleeping in and fun-having. Mr. "Oh look at me, most people don't have to work so they have all the fun on MY day...", I just don't think the weekdays, (other than the oh-so-loved FRIDAY) get enough attention.
I honestly don't know how that happened. A simple "Happy Tuesday" turned into an entire rant about the days of the week...and why their lives just aren't fair.
It's Tasty Tuesday people! That means I get to blog about my favorite subject. FEWD!!!!! I love food. Honest to goodness head over heels in love with it. My scale, and clothes could probably attest to just how much I love food. Being the food lover I am, I believe that I appreciate it more than the fellow woman. (Man, and child.) I can actually watch someone eating something and find myself becoming jealous and angry over the fact that there is no way they are enjoying and appreciating their meal as much as I would have, had it been me gloriously indulging myself with their edible delights. See what I did there? I went on another tangent.
Ahem, okay, today I am going to share another fave food site of mine.
I love allrecipes.com, almost more than I love kraftfoods.com! (If you missed that post, you can check it out {HERE}.) I think what really sealed the deal for me and allrecipes is the fact that they had the recipe for disappearing marshmallow brownies!!! Gasp! What?! You don't know what disappearing marshmallow brownies are?! Hmmm...I see next Tuesdays post already...
Moaning Monday...ugh
I'm having a really hard time typing, and putting words together because my head hurts. SO. BAD. I seriously can't even put stuff together in my poor little brain.
This post is as boring as my posts from way back when.
I apologize from that. See? I said "from" instead of "for".
My head hurts to bad that I had to google how many oz. are in a cup.
Okay, I'm going to lay down....
I'll moan about my intended moan next week. And maybe between now and tomorrow my random thought will once more return. Maybe it will bring friends and I can WRITE THEM down so I don't forget them.
TTFN
Thank You Sugar Tunkin's!!!
He is the most awesomest father, daddy, and husband in the WORLD. I don't know how on earth I lucked out to snag him, but by the grace of God he's mine! Allllllll mine. And not only that, but he's mine FOREVER.
He gives me anything he can within his means.
He does all he possibly can for me.
He comes home to me every night. Without fail.
He works to support our family everyday.
He is patient.
He puts up with my laziness, slobiness, moodiness, bitchiness, all of my ness'!
He lifts me up when I am down.
Takes the weight of the world off my shoulders.
He laughs with me, not at me. (Okay sometimes he might laugh at me.)
He comes home from working a looong hard day and still helps with the kids and chores.
He can fix anything.
He's never talked down to me.
He's never called me names.
I have never been afraid of him.
I trust him with all I am.
I can be 150% percent myself with him.
I can be honest with him without consequences.
I could stay home with him forever and never get bored.
I love him with all I am and words couldn't even describe how thankful I am for him.
Let's give them something to blog about...
It's not cool. I don't like it.
OMG I know it's a day late, but I have something magnificent to make up for the lame-o subway post for my tasty Tuesday!!
Ladies & Gentelmen, I give you...
Wait a minute…where did Monday go? Is this Tuesday?
Seriously? It’s Tuesday? Wow, I’m impressed. It went by so painlessly. I DIDN’T even have anything to moan about!
Okay, okay IF you actually read this blog regularly you may have been wanting to know about the moaning stuff I had spoke of Sunday. {“I already know what I’m going to moan about tomorrow…I wonder if I should start moaning about it now, even though it hasn’t happened yet…maybe it will be glorious and I won’t want to moan!! (Yea doubt that…and if you are wondering what I am jibber jabbering on about be sure to come back tomorrow! Der! ^_^)”} Wishful thinking worked in this case! Well, maybe it wasn’t “glorious”, but it wasn’t too bad! I, me, Brianne Renwick, w
orked OUT. At a GYM!!! Of course I am starting out slow, so it was only 10 min. on this stair stepper thing, and 35 min. on a treadmill, but I definitely broke a sweat, and burned some calories. And I’ll tell you what, I slept like a BABY last night! It was fantastic. I really felt great all day. I even went back today! I did an hour long class and got through the WHOLE thing. My sister was so proud of me, which made me proud of myself. :) Other than a muscle cramp in my back it was great! :)
Now, I’m pooped of course, but I had a really productive day. Got the car inspected, oil changed, picked up a few things at the store, worked out like I said, had an awesome lunch, and took Leah to the doctor. (She has a sinus infection.) Made a super yummy dinner, and now I’ve got American Idol to look forward to with some kickass gals from church.
Tomorrow is more gym time, followed by helping my sister wrap up the last few things to get settled in her new house. I’m just a wee bit scared of what I’m going to feel like in the morning. Right now I’m feeling muscles I haven’t felt in a loooooong time. I don’t think I’ll be in a lot of pain. I sure hope not anyway.
Hailey sang “Pants on da ground” yesterday. I had NO idea where she had learned it from. “Pop-Pop!” She told me proudly. (Oh great, now it’s stuck in my head again…)
Okay, okay, it’s Tuesday, so I’ll try and share something tasty…
Today for lunch I had
. It was soooo yummy! I had the oven roasted chicken breast, on 6” wheat bread, with spinach, green peppers, onion, tomato, and the fat free sweet onion sauce. Mmmm, thinking about it makes me want another one! To top it all off it was only 4.5 grams of fat, and lots of protein, and fiber. So I was nice and full. :o) Subway is one of the only places I can eat when I’m watching what I eat. I don’t have to suffer through the meal and pretend that I like what I’m eating. I actually like it! Not only that, but there’s so much to chose from that is under 6 grams of fat.
Okay, so boring, I know.
Just not feeling it today. Sorry folks. :o(
Farewell Weekend… :0(
Whenever you meet someone new at a party, church, etc., and you become friends, do you ever go home and wait for them to add you to facebook? Do you ever have that “should I add them? or should I wait for them to add me” moment? It’s like back in the day with the whole, “should I call them? or wait for them to call me?” thing…anyone? Or is that just me…bahahahaha…
I’m becoming so discouraged with opening farmville eggs. I seem to just get chicken after chicken. Now I have scored 2 zen gardens, a picnic, a float, and fuel. But 9 times out of 10 it’s a chicken. *Sigh* I don’t even know if I want to open them anymore…whoa is me…
We finally made our trip to Lowe’s to spend Mel’s gift cards that he received for his birthday. We got everything we need to redo the kiddo’s bathroom. This time, (unlike our dining room makeover) I am doing before & after pics!! It makes me sad knowing we’re about to put a whole lot of work into something that will be torn down before years end, but that bathroom is to’ up from the flo’ up!! It HAS to be done before they come appraise the house.
I’ve been working off scene, designing a new look for this-here blog I’ve got goin’ on and I can’t get anything to feel right! I’ve put some cute stuff together but it just doesn’t scream, “PHOTOG NAZI” the way I need it too. I think I may put them up for grabs on Busy.B{Custom}Designs. So if you wanna new design keep yo’ eyes OPEN, and make sure you’re following or subscribed to the Busy.B. (Or I just might disown you.)
I just noticed that I can insert a map. That’s pretty neat-o!! (I use Windows Live Writer, that’s why I can do cool stuff like that….) I was going to put my house but I didn’t think that would be a good thing to post on the world wide web. Just sayin’….
Tomorrow is Monday, Martin Luther King day actually. And there is no school. I don’t really know how I feel about that.
I already know what I’m going to moan about tomorrow…I wonder if I should start moaning about it now, even though it hasn’t happened yet…maybe it will be glorious and I won’t want to moan!! (Yea doubt that…and if you are wondering what I am jibber jabbering on about be sure to come back tomorrow! Der! ^_^)
I am well aware that this is a disorganized blog. But there’s no rules in the world of blogging. (or is there? Hmm…..) These are just random things that have popped into my head sometime between 7:19pm this evening and now. (8:51pm)
{PS} If you have tried in the past and were unable to, you may now leave comments right here on my bloggy blog. For some reason I had that little sucker turned off. I’m curious to see if I get any comments, I had thought that I just didn’t have any readers. I mean, I only have 12 followers….anywho….
GOOD NIGHT and STAY CLASSY
U is for Ughhhhhhh and Uterus
Well this Friday is not any of those glorious things.
I know I've said it before, but I am so sick and tired of being sick and tired and having sick and tired kiddo's.
I woke up this morning with, once again, horrible pain in my tummy tum. The puking and whatnot I can deal with. The pain I was having...well not so much. So ONCE again I got to spend a little time in the ER. Yay what fun. Only not really. After they milked 73 tubes of blood from my shriveled up dehydrated vain, made me drink bigfoots urine, (I swear that's what it was...), and pumped my vains full of nuclear waste, I was told that the CT scan showed that my uterus is prominent and enlarged. What does that even MEAN?!
And most importantly why does it hurt so ding-dang bad?!
It's not fun! I don't like it!
So I'm told to follow up very soon with my OB. (Umm, it's Friday, they're closed over the weekend and it's too late to be worked in today. Hello?!) So next Thursday I get to find out why my uterus is "prominent and enlarged" and why it hurts so dang bad. Perhaps my uterus has decided it's large and in charge and since it's one of the most badass organs, (for growing babies of course) that's it's just gonna take over and kick the crap out of my other not-so-cool non-baby making organs. STOP IT UTERUS. IT'S NOT COOL.
Maybe it's angry at me for cutting it open two times. It's not my fault my children are born the size of 2 month olds! Don't be blaming it on me uterus! You're the one providing placental goodness to them. NOT ME!
I'm gonna go ahead and let her calm down and try talking it over with her. I'm sure we can work something out...until then I hope everyone enjoys their weekend!!!! I'm gonna try like hell...even though I now have to miss out of The Lovely Bones tonight...thanks alot uterus...
A Little Announcement for this Beautiful Thursday
It’s Thursday!! That means that tomorrow is Friday! Which means The Lovely Bones with Tim & Amber! Woo-hoo!!
Here’s a quick update since I’m a busy little b. tonight….
I enjoyed a lo-hu-ove-ly lunch with my dear friend and her madre today at a delicious Mexican restaurant. It was just great! :0)
Then I got a phone call that my mom went to urgent care because she didn’t feel well and that they had sent her, by ambulance, to the ER for fear that she may have a blood-clot in her lunge. SO I had to quickly find arrangements for the kiddo’s so that I could run up to the hospital to be with my mom. I finally got there and *Thank God* she was fine. No blood clot. They said if may have been the beginning signs of pneumonia. So I took her home and got home to find the Leah Bug cranky, with diarrhea, and a fever.
Not the most eventful of days. But I’m pooped. And all I want to do is work on my bloggy blog stuff, and honestly my hubby couldn’t come fast enough! He’s already 2 hours late and he is just now on his way home.
That’s all I got for today.
Anyyyyyywho….
I just wanted to give my few readers a heads up that things may look a little funny around here for a while. I have been working on designing my blog for a while now and it’s starting to come together. Expect a new look coming here soon. And if things look funny, now you’ll know why.
For a little Thankful Thursday snippet, I will say that I am thankful and blessed to have in-law’s and ex-in-law’s that are always willing to help at the drop of a hat.
That’s all folks…
I got nothin’….
Soooo….
yea.
Um.
Okay.
Yesterday and today have felt really busy. I’m pretty exhausted and tired.
Both of the kids had dentist appointment yesterday which I stupidly scheduled for 10 and 10:30 in the morning. Completely disregarding the fact that Hailey attends preschool from 9-1 Tues.-Thurs.. So yea yesterday morning went something like this:
- took joshua to school
- took hailey to school
- picked up joshua from school
- took joshua to dentist
- {luckily mom helped me out and got hailey from school for me}
after their teeth were squeaky clean and declared cavity free
took hailey back to school - picked joshua up lunch (he missed lunch at school)
- ate lunch at my moms
- took joshua back to school
- picked up hailey from school
- and then picked up joshua from school
I was exhausted by the time I got home.
Today was Leah’s post-op appointment. Her little finger is doing great! Doc said we should be able to tell something in about 4-6 weeks. We won’t know what the nail will be like for another 6 months or more. No more big ‘ol bandage. We can just gauze it or put a band-aid on it! :0D She did great at the doctor, although she was very protective over her hand. :0)
After Leah’s appointment we made a stop at Target to pick up something I had gotten a rain check for a couple of weeks ago.
I lucked out and snagged some awesome sales! I got $128 worth of stuff for only $50! And with a $20 gift card I only had to spend $30! I love sales…here’s what I got:
- Two packs of Mam paci’s for Leah. (4 paci’s in all, they’re like socks and just disappear.) Regular $5 something, I got for $1 something.
- A pack of Playtex sippy cups. Regular $7 something, got for $3 something.
- A pair of $24 pants for Mel. Paid $6.
- First season of True Blood on DVD, normally $50, on sale for $30, got for $17 with rain check!!
- 4 shirts for Hailey, 3 of which were only $1.74, one was $4.
- A dress for Leah for $2.50.
- 2 pairs of gloves, one each for Joshua and Hailey, only $1.
- 3 puzzle books for Joshua (2 sudoku, 1 word search.) $1 each.
I was able to snag everything for %50 off or more. Some of the $1 stuff was just a $1 though.
I love Target.
Stopped at Mom’s for lunch, (why pay for fast food when you can go to mom’s??) Feasted on french toast and mozzarella bites. (Weird combo of foods has been becoming a habit lately.)
Then got the two older kiddo’s from school.
I really didn’t do much. I don’t know why I’m so tired.
I didn’t do a single chore today. It makes me want to throw up in my mouth a little.
Tomorrow is a long-awaited, much-needed lunch date with the best friend. Friday is a play-date with my sister and some friends. Can’t think of what else for now….
Please forgive me for not sticking to my little daily themes. Although Wednesdays are “wild” so I can blog about anything…BUT I put those themes in place to push me to blog everyday, and I’m really not having a problem with that!
{PS}Went in to wake up Joshua and Hailey this morning and found this:
In case you’re wondering, yes those are maxi pads. Hailey was attempting to cover up where she had peeled the wallpaper off of his wall. Because I would never notice two maxi pads stuck to the wall….a lot of people on facebook thought it was gross. Funny but gross. I can assure you these were clean out of the package maxi pads.
’Til Next Time Folks!
Trying to catch up...
Front row tickets to the Panthers vs Saints game, and it's 24 degrees or something another and FREEZING!!!
The panthers won. But I didn't get to see it because I couldn't stay past half-time. Because it was FREEZING.

If you look, there's an icicle that looks like drool...an ICICLE! Did I mention, it was freezing?

Row ONE!!!

The rest of the pics are from my camera phone, I didn't bring my camera in. I regret that now.
Here's a better pic of the icicle drool.
Oh sooooo Tasty....
It makes my mouth water.
And now I want Mama's....dang.
Squermy Derm
This is actually what my mom calls squirmy little babies, but in this case I am speaking of my newly acquired squeamish ways.
As you may, or many not, possibly, could have, seen, my most up-to-date facebook status is as follows:
“Why is it that I can sit here and watch arms break, feet twist, noses bust open, and other bloody brawlish type things on the tele and it doesn't phase me. But one of my kiddo's get's a bloody lip and I feel faint and want to throw up?!?
I’m serious. This issue is just becoming ridiculous. I was fine until the whole Christmas Eve Pinky Incident of ‘09. I seriously have never freaked out like that a day in my life. I was completely embarrassed for it! I thought it was a one-time deal, that I just happen to freak out ‘cause it really was so horrible.
I truly believed that until yesterday. Leah fell face first into a toy box and busted her lip. She bled. A lot. And I got faint. A lot.
I’ve never been the “freaker outter”!!!! I’ve always been the calm, level-headed, reasonable one! Nope. Not anymore. Now, I see blood come out of my children and it’s all I can do to stay conscious! I have to cover my eyes like a little kid watching a scary movie, and plug my ears so that I can’t hear her scream and cry! With every wail I feel a wave of panic.
It’s despicable behavior. Especially for me. The horror movie, gore loving, UFC watching, use-to-be-at-one-time-but-obviously-lost-it-somewhere-along-they-way, hardass!!
I want it back!!! NOW!
So that, ladies and gentlemen, is my “uggghhh” for the day. My official monday moan.
{PS} Completely off topic for this post, but totaly on topic for the previous “Alby” post; Mel is now teaching Leah to hold a stuffed animal in her mouth and shake her head back and forth like a dog. She’s getting a kick out of it, and is even growling. Hehe. I love it.
The Misuse of “Alby”
For example. At dinner time:
Leah: “I stuck”
Me: You’re not stuck you’re strapped in.
Leah: “Alby, Alby, Alby, Mommy!”
Me: No owie, Leah, you’re strapped in so that you don’t fall.
She doesn’t just use “owie” {“alby”} when she is in pain. She uses it for any discomfort, or irritation.
While sitting on the couch just now, while Mel was keeping her from falling off the couch, she pulled an “alby”. As Mel put it, “That’s the misuse of “alby” Leah.” (He actually says “alby” instead of owie, so when she begins to correctly pronounce the word, I deserve all credit.)
{PS} Right now Leah and Daddy are kissing Leah’s babies. A kiss from Leah has become her placing her lips on you and saying, “Mmmmmmm-ma”. It’s so super cute!! Here's some camera phone pics....

{Isn't that the cutest? Please excuse the baskets of laundry, and the hair in her eyes! lol}

Confessions of a Photog Nazi
#6 I’m addicted to the “Ville's”
It’s true. Sad, disgusting, yet TRUE. I, Brianne Renwick, am addicted to real-time simulation games on Facebook. {Off topic, but a clip from Half Baked just ran through my head where Thurgood is admitting he is addicted to marijuana, and Bob Saget stands up and says, “Marijuana is not a drug. I used to suck d!$# for coke. Now that's an addiction. You ever suck some d!$# for marijuana?”, in which case I would have to say, I have never sucked d!$# to harvest crops…} Excuse the language guys…
Anywho, I cannot go a 24 hours without harvesting, plowing, planting, shooing away gophers, crows, or raccoons, fertilizing, visiting neighbors, working in a factory, shopping at simulated furniture stores, feeding, cleaning, or playing with a virtual pet. I can say with a hint of pride that I have not been sucked into Fishville or Cafe World at least! Just Yo, Farm, and Petville. I can also say with pride that unlike other addicts I have not spent a dime on my addiction. Even as tempting as it may be to buy Yocash, or FarmCash, or whatever cash is on Petville. (Most likely petcash???)
I love all my little gifts, and bonuses, and all sorts of other schtuff’s I get to do with my Ville’s! I don’t know how long this addiction will last, but I don’t see myself on A&E’s Intervention anytime soon.
These are actual screenshots from my little virtual lives! lol

Whelp! Until next time folks!!!!
With Love,
Confessions of a Photog Nazi 5
I think there are two types of people. Coffee drinkers, and non-coffee drinkers. You may enjoy a steaming cup of brew every now and again, and THINK you’re a coffee drinker. But you’re not a coffee drinker. We all know one. We may even be one. These people live for their coffee. Or should I say live OFF of their coffee? They have that favorite blend, that favorite brand, and have their favorite mug. Me, I’m not a coffee drinker. Now I love a good coffee every now and again, but I put so much creamer and sugar in it that it’s a sorry excuse for a rich brewed beverage. But what coffee is to a coffee drinker, Diet Coke is to me.
I have carried on a love affair with Diet Coke for almost 4 years now. We were
friends for many years before it turned into something more. But now we’re inseparable. I can’t even go a full 24 hours without this delicious, calorie-free, bubbly beverage. I wake up to a can every morning, and drink one every night before bed. I drink diet coke with every meal. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I drink it between meals with snacks, or if I’m just thirsty. It’s a despicable thing I know. Especially to you healthy people out there. I can’t even remember the last time I drank water. Or anything other than Diet Coke for that matter. It’s scary to think of what I could possibly be doing to myself….hmmm….
But alas, I will continue on this sick affair until I see fit. Maybe I’ll grow tired of my love one day. Until then we will enjoy every thirsty moment together in pure joy.
Here’s to you Diet Coke! My love! My refreshment! My quencher of thirsts!

Confessions of a Photog Nazi 4
#4 I listen to my kids CD’s. {Even when they’re not with me.}
It’s not unusual to catch me jamming out to Hannah Montana, or even worse, The Imagination Movers, on any given day. It’s just that their tunes are so dang catchy!! Some of them are even, *gasp* GOOD. Funky little beats and tempos! lol I just think that kids songs have come a long way since “This is the song that never ends…” and the Barney song. I wish I had such jammable songs when I was my kids age. Okay, since I know you’re DYING to know here’s a peek at some songs that keep me coming back for more:
“It’s All Right Here”-Hannah Montana 3 {Click HERE to listen to a little clip.}
and
”We Can Work Together”-Imagination Movers: For Those About To Hop {Click HERE to listen to a little clip.}

Confessions of a Photog Nazi 1-3
While everyone drools over Orlando Bloom, Matthew McConaughey, Patrick Dempsey, and all the other six-pack flaunting hotties, I choose to drool over a totally different crowd of gentlemen. In fact if you googled "Hottest Male Actors" I don't think you would find any of my celeb-crushes on the lists. Granted I did see Brad Pitt, and James Franco on the list. However I only find Brad's rough and dirty "Tyler Durden", and Franco's super stoned "Dale Denton" to be Photog Nazi drool-worthy. So here's a peek at the super-yummy menu of hunky deliciousness:
#2 Is my dork showing?
Yes I think it is. I am a complete Twilight/Harry Potter fanatic. So much so that the only movie premieres I have ever been to would be Twilight, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and New Moon. Not only did I attend the premiere, but I went to all three midnight showings. Yes I was a ticket release watching, early ticket buying, standing in line forever, to see a movie based on a children's book type of freak. For New Moon, I even downloaded a New Moon theme for my blackberry and wore a Team Jacob shirt. It's horrible. You don't even want to know the types of Twilight paraphernalia I own. It would put sixteen year old girls to shame. There are few things I get excited about in life and among new super-cool vacuums, I get excited about Twilight and Harry Potter. Oh and of course anything zombie…but you know that's a whole other confession.
#3 I <3 my vacuum
It is the Cadillac of vacuums. Not quite the Bentley of vacuums the way the ever-so-amazing Kirby is, but everyone loves a good Cadi. I have a Kenmore Progressive and this thing is a-ma-zing. While I have pined over a Kirby for years, and probably will for years to come, I am head over heels for my Kenmore. When the inevitable life of my 8 year old Dirt Devil hand-me-down came to an end I knew we would have to get something good. Something that had POWER, and could get the job done! First we bought a $75 vacuum of some sort from Target. It sucked. But not the way vacuums should. It sucked as in it was HORRIBLE. It came with one of those duster wand things that broke within DAYS, and it was bagless and emptying it was so nasty. Not only that, but it clogged every.single.time that we used it. I hated that thing with a passion. After some long, LONG time doing research on the web I discovered the Kenmore progressive. There was a little sticker shock at the price, but it was nowhere near the tag on a Kirby or Dyson, AND we waited and got it on sale. Let me tell you, it was one of the BEST purchases we have made. I love my vacuum! It sucks like you wouldn't believe, and purrs like a little baby kitten. It's so quiet that I can talk on the phone while it runs. And get this, it TELLS you when the spot you are vacuuming is clean!!! It has a magical little dirt sensor that will turn green once the area is clean. And no, it's not on a timer that turns green after a certain amount of time vacuuming. That sucker literally knows when it's clean! If you vacuum a "red" spot it will turn orange, than yellow, than green when it's clean. When you move to a new red spot, and move back to the clean spot it will turn green to let you know it's already clean! It's amazing…it's never clogged on us before, it's beltless so there's no worry of having to replace a belt, and it has a neat little bag that I just throw away without dumping dust and yuckiness into a garbage can just for it to poof back up into my face. So yea, I confess, I love my vacuum!
First Moaning Monday of 2010!
There is no way around it. I simply loathe New Years Resolutions. Can you honestly name one person who makes, and keeps their resolutions?! Have you, yourself, ever been able to keep a resolution? Okay, okay, so maybe it's just me. I can NOT for the life of me make and keep a resolution. Granted I only really remember making an actual list of resolutions one time in my life...but I wasn't able to keep a single one of them! Therefore I lost all hope in these traditional, yearly promises. I know I have made other resolutions that fell through, I just have a way of forgetting the majority of things that have occurred in my lifetime. It's pretty convenient when your life is full of suck, but at the same time I'm sure there are plenty of good things I've lost over the years...
anywho back to the evil resolutions. If I were, hypothetically, to make resolutions this year I could think of 3 very specific things that I would want to resolve. One, I really, REALLY don't want to be considered morbidly obese anymore. So I want to lose enough weight to have a healthy BMI. Okay, so I don't know if I'm considered "morbidly" obese, but I know I'm considered obese. And that just sickens me!!!! Two, I don't want to cuss anymore. I wish I could just remove that part out of my brain. But all those horrible words are stuck there, waiting to flow out at any given moment. I am disgusted with myself for how easily I cuss, and how often. It's one of the hardest habits to kick. Three, I really want to read my bible and SOAP everyday. {SOAP stands for Scripture, Observation, Application, and Prayer, you read the bible, pick a verse that really speaks to you and write it down. That's your scripture. Then you write your observation of the verse. That's your observation. Then you write how you can apply it to your life. That's your application. Then obviously you write a prayer about it. That's your prayer. It's honestly the only way I get anything out of the bible other than what Todd, or Jared, or Robbie or whoever preach to me on Sundays. And I highly recommend it!!}
So yea, if I were to make resolutions, those would be what I would make. But I know that I'll probably lose another 30lb's. Then gain it back. I probably couldn't even go 24 hours without cursing. And I might pick up my bible and soap journal and do an entry tonight, but tomorrow I'll forget. So why bother making something that will just be broken?
Do you know how many people bought gym memberships this week? They'll maybe use them what...a week or two? It's not like I'm the only one that can't do it. Right?! And I doubt I'm the only one that feels this way. I'm sure 90% of people have, or will blog about the very same stuff this week.
It's moaning Monday, and I needed something to moan about. Luckily I just happen to have something bugging the crap out me to blog about.
Avatar
I FINALLY went to see Avatar today! I say FINALLY as though it's been a long time coming, even though it's only been in theaters for 8 days! I honestly feel like one of the last one's to see it though!
Let me tell you, I really wish I had seen it in 3D. The special effects were spectacular, and the scenery was just breathtakingly beautiful. It had a beautiful story, although slightly reminiscent of Disney's Pocahontas. Seriously, I was thinking of Pocahontas and John Smith throughout most of the movie! lol
I really, REALLY recommend seeing it if you haven't seen it already. And I REALLY recommend seeing it in 3D. I'm really considering going back to see it in 3D while it's still in theaters. It's definitely a movie that you want to see on the big screen. I don't think seeing it on a television for the first time would do it justice.
But yea, definitely loved the Avatar. It will be added to the DVD collection one day. :0)
