I got nothin’….

Really. I can’t think of a thing to blog today. Not a single solitary thing.
Soooo….
yea.
Um.

Okay.

Yesterday and today have felt really busy. I’m pretty exhausted and tired.

Both of the kids had dentist appointment yesterday which I stupidly scheduled for 10 and 10:30 in the morning. Completely disregarding the fact that Hailey attends preschool from 9-1 Tues.-Thurs.. So yea yesterday morning went something like this:

• took joshua to school
• took hailey to school
• picked up joshua from school
• took joshua to dentist
• {luckily mom helped me out and got hailey from school for me}
  after their teeth were squeaky clean and declared cavity free
  took hailey back to school
• picked joshua up lunch (he missed lunch at school)
• ate lunch at my moms
• took joshua back to school
• picked up hailey from school
• and then picked up joshua from school

I was exhausted by the time I got home.

Today was Leah’s post-op appointment. Her little finger is doing great! Doc said we should be able to tell something in about 4-6 weeks. We won’t know what the nail will be like for another 6 months or more. No more big ‘ol bandage. We can just gauze it or put a band-aid on it! :0D She did great at the doctor, although she was very protective over her hand. :0)

After Leah’s appointment we made a stop at Target to pick up something I had gotten a rain check for a couple of weeks ago.
I lucked out and snagged some awesome sales! I got $128 worth of stuff for only $50! And with a $20 gift card I only had to spend $30! I love sales…here’s what I got:

• Two packs of Mam paci’s for Leah. (4 paci’s in all, they’re like socks and just disappear.) Regular $5 something, I got for $1 something.
• A pack of Playtex sippy cups. Regular $7 something, got for $3 something.
• A pair of $24 pants for Mel. Paid $6.
• First season of True Blood on DVD, normally $50, on sale for $30, got for $17 with rain check!!  
• 4 shirts for Hailey, 3 of which were only $1.74, one was $4.
• A dress for Leah for $2.50.
• 2 pairs of gloves, one each for Joshua and Hailey, only $1.
• 3 puzzle books for Joshua (2 sudoku, 1 word search.) $1 each.

…I think that’s it. I can’t think of anything else.
I was able to snag everything for %50 off or more. Some of the $1 stuff was just a $1 though.

I love Target.

Stopped at Mom’s for lunch, (why pay for fast food when you can go to mom’s??) Feasted on french toast and mozzarella bites. (Weird combo of foods has been becoming a habit lately.)

Then got the two older kiddo’s from school.

I really didn’t do much. I don’t know why I’m so tired.


I didn’t do a single chore today. It makes me want to throw up in my mouth a little.

Tomorrow is a long-awaited, much-needed lunch date with the best friend. Friday is a play-date with my sister and some friends. Can’t think of what else for now….


Please forgive me for not sticking to my little daily themes. Although Wednesdays are “wild” so I can blog about anything…BUT I put those themes in place to push me to blog everyday, and I’m really not having a problem with that!

{PS}Went in to wake up Joshua and Hailey this morning and found this:

In case you’re wondering, yes those are maxi pads. Hailey was attempting to cover up where she had peeled the wallpaper off of his wall. Because I would never notice two maxi pads stuck to the wall….a lot of people on facebook thought it was gross. Funny but gross. I can assure you these were clean out of the package maxi pads.
