I have an htc Evo Shift. I have a love/hate relationship with it. I love it, and all it's bells and whistles and apps and all that jazz. But it's got some unloveable quirks. I.E. $#itty battery life, turning off and on by itself for no reason, and sometimes my chubster cheek ends calls because of the touch screen. I wouldn't trade it for anything though. {Other than an iphone.} Sprint needs an iphone. Verizon just ain't my bag.
2. How old were you when you got your first cell phone?
Hm. I know I got my pager for Christmas when I was 14...shortly after I got my first cell. So 15??? I only used it to answer pages though. {Mostly.} I was spoiled. My mom paid the bill. I bought and paid for my own at 16 though.
3. How many cell phones have you owned since your first?
Hot damn. A lot. Let me count...1...crappy LG phone...2...nokia cricket...3...verizon LG...4...another verizon, can't remember the kind...5...ancient nextel radio...6...bumblebee nextel flip phone/radio {wooo ring tones!}...7...newer, non flip nextel radio {wooo color screen!}...8...blue and silver flip nextel phone/radio...got a snazzy pink cover for blue and silver flip nextel phone/radio...9...motorola razr {woooo CAMERA phone!}...went through a few covers for the razr...10...samsung instinct {woooo touch screen!}...11...blackberry curve {woooo apps!}...12...htc evo shift {wooo touch screen AND android market} I think that wraps it up! So...12{'ish it's quite possible I forgot one along the way...}
4. How much is your average monthly phone bill?
For mine and the hubby's we pay $160 a month. {Unlimited cell to cell, 1500 minutes to share, unlimited web and text, I don't even know what else.}
5. When you were a kid/teenager, were you allowed to have a phone in your room?
I had my own phone line. In my room. Damn. I really was spoiled at that point.
6. Do you like talking on the phone or do you despise it? Or somewhere in-between?
I do NOT enjoy talking on the phone. Not even a little bit. Hating the phone was a learned behavior. But it's stuck with me, and now I can't kick it. I also can't stand being around other people when they're talking on their phones. I never answer my phone. EVER. And only call if I HAVE to. I'm just not a chit-chatter. {Unless I love you and miss you, then I will talk to you FOREVER!♥} I'm a hardcore texter.
7. Do you text a lot? Is texting/talking while driving illegal where you live? Are you guilty of it anyway?
Like I said above, I am a hardcore texter. HARD. CORE. Okay, not really because I've heard of preteens like breaking records and that's not even close to what I've accomplished. But I am a texter none-the-less. More so than a talker.
Texting while driving is illegal where I live, as it should be!
Heavens no I'm not guilty of it! I'm not a dumbass. And if you text and drive you're a dumbass. And if you're offended than don't text and drive. I text at stop lights, and if the light turns green, my phone is put down and not picked up again until I'm at a stop. {I saw that scary as video circulating about texting and it scarred me for life. Not to mention that I usually have at least one of my babies with me, and their lives so aren't worth a friggin' text.}
8. What sort of texting keyboard does your phone have? Touch screen, slide out, or something different? Do you care?
I have a touch screen and a slide out. I use both, but more so I use the slide out. {Less typos that way. ;) }
9. Look at the last call in your call log – who is it? What were they calling about? Who calls you the most?
My last call was to my hubby. I call him all day. For random stupid things. Because I miss him a lot. He's my only exception to the whole "hating to talk on the phone" thing. {I probably aggravate the poops out of him.}
10. What is the longest phone call you can recall having?
Ohhhh you know...those long middle/high school talks with your little middle/high school sweethearts! Seriously, my longest convo was 8 or 9 hours long. Pa-the-tic. But it was "l♥ve". {Bahahaha!} (Actually I did end up marrying the guy and having kids with him...you know...in my defense...but we also divorced...lol)
