- How come the days we FINALLY get precipitation, it's not cold enough to snow? It doesn't get over 30° one day, and it's bone dry outside, and then today (although it feels pretty cold at 46º) we're getting loads and loads of rain?! I guess I really shouldn't complain, seeing as how we got two pretty good snows within a couple of weeks of each other.
- Why can't super yummy food be healthier, or healthier food be super yummier? Don't get me wrong, because yes, there is some pretty yummy healthy food. But you just don't get the same warm fuzzies over spinach that you do for a super messy burger. And although it's okay, a burger just isn't the same without cheese and just a tad mayo. It would just be fantabulous to have a chili cheese coney from Sonic® and not have to worry about working out for 2 hours to burn it off.
- Is there some unknown law, unknown to me, that says that siblings cannot agree on anything? Why can't they just agree on something?! ANYthing?! Breakfast, lunch, TV shows, movies, arts&crafts, my kiddo's can't seem to agree on anything. In fact I'm 92% sure that they wait to see what the other wants just to say they want something different. If I could get them to agree on at least ONE thing ONCE a day, my live would be so much easier. But no, everything has to be an argument and a fight.
- Why does network television portray southerners as uneducated, backwoods, idiots, with horrible grammar and fashion issues? Granted yes, I do know many, many southerners that fit that description, but I know northerners that do too! I also know people from the west, and midwest, and southwest, and everywhere else in this country that fit that stereotype! At least we're portrayed with that southern hospitality....usually. Just FYI, I don't wear overalls, I have all my teeth, I barely have a southern accent, I (for the most part) use proper grammar, and we don't live in the backwoods!
I think that's enough moaning for one day. Don't you?
