Leah is seriously saying a new word, or doing something new everyday. It's insane. She turned 14 months yesterday. 61 weeks today according to an email I got today. (LoL I thought it was pretty funny considering I stopped counting weeks a year ago...) Here are a list of words/signs that she uses and says:
- Mama
- Dada
- Josh
- Hi
- Bye
- Please
- More
- Thank You
- Kisses
- Lovin's (Hugs)
- Yes
- No
- Juice/Drink
- Eat/Hungry
- Night Night/Tired
- All done
To me she has a pretty good vocab for her age. It's nice to know when she's tired, hungry, thirsty, etc. It makes things SO much easier. She's so funny, and makes the cutest faces, and has the cutest little mannerisms. Here are some of Leah's "tricks". (Haha, we don't have a dog, so we teach Leah tricks!)
- Happy Feet (She "tap" dances! lol)
- She winks
- She blows kisses
- Waves bye
- Big 'Ol Belly (Lifts her shirt if you say that.)
- She rubs her eyes if you ask her is she's tired. (Even if she isn't.)
- My MOST favorite: If you ask her how old she is, she holds up her pointer finger and says, "six"!!! (Don't ask me why she says 6, we've never figured it out!)
- If you ask her where her eyes, hair, nose, teeth, mouth, and ears are she points to them!
She's so smart though, and takes directions VERY well. It's such a blessing when you've got 2 older one's in the mix. She's very helpful with bringing diapers and wipes when she needs a clean diaper. She's also good at finding things if she takes them somewhere. We let her play with our phones and if we can't find them, we just ask her. "Leah, where's (mommy's/daddy's) phone?" and she runs and gets it! She helps clean up her messes too which is AWESOME! She has one big MAJOR personality and I can't wait to see what she has in store for us! I just hope the 2 year old-like tantrums she throws already will be out of her system ASAP.
