Before & After Blog Hop w/ Pixel Perfect

One of my fave blog hops is Pixel Perfects Before & After blog hop! Here are the rules:
"Show your SOOC (straight out of camera) shot and then your edited one. Be sure to link back to Pixel Perfect. Share with us what editing program you used and link up! (when sharing with us what program please don't just say photoshop. Clarify whether you are talking about photoshop elements of photoshop cs4, thanks!)"

If you would like to link-up your Before & Afters with Monica, head on over to Pixel Perfect! :D

{BEFORE}
Straight Out Of Camera

{AFTER}
Using Photoshop Elements 7 I did an unsharp mask, and cleaned up her nose boogies using the spot healing and cloning tool. Next I used the lasso, and cloning tool to create the background over her left shoulder. Then I used Coffeeshops "Perfect Portrait" action to do a levels adjustment, color pop, eye pop and vignette.

Love the intensity of her eyes and the vignette! And the fact that you had to clean out boogies on photoshop as you would in real life makes you a TRUE mama! Love it!

I love how you fixed the bg. Great photo and edit (as always lol)! I hop I have time to join in today. Right now I'm cleaning up squished M&M's from the carpet. Oh the day when we have hardwoods....

PS- So glad you like the new look. I'm trying to get my photog site up and running, but blogger is giving me SO MUCH trouble with the HTML. There just aren't enough hours in the day.

This edit is fantastic! You turned an already great picture into something phenomenal :) I love the way her eyes pop. And the dark background really stands out.

OMGosh!! I love this! She's such a little doll! <3 I so, gotta get my butt on my CS4, and learn more. You did great, mama! And sorry I've been so absent around here. My work pc freaks when I post a comment on your blog. After I submit, it opens like 123,124 windows of your blog! LMAO - b/c it's funny, but not b/c I'm at work, and trying to get them to close before someone walks up to my desk! ;) And it's my job, not your blog that does this, b/c from home it doesn't happen. OH!! And love your pics from Thursday's 13! I soooo could probably put one of those together too. I can't stay still and change things up all the time.
