"I want a movie!" She demands while driving down the road.
"You want to watch a movie?" I ask, to confirm her demands.
"Yes!" She replies. {Really it's more of a YESTH.}
It feels like, “I want the car keys!” Is just around the corner. Where did the time go?!
Hailey scares me to death. She is beautiful. Like, GORGEOUS. I know I’m biased, but it still worries me. And her spunk? Oh my goodness this girl is the DEFINITION of spunky. No really, look:
spunky
Pronunciation: \ˈspəŋ-kē\
Function: adjective
Inflected Form(s): spunk·i·er; spunk·i·est
Date: 1786
: full of spunk
See? I’m surprised there is not a picture of her there. I should recommend this photo be used:
Today Hailey told Leah to, and I quote, “Shut your pine hole!!”
”Hailey”, I inform her, “It’s PIE hole, not PINE hole.”
She rolled her eyes at me, and sighed.
Somehow I was left feeling like I was the wrong one. She made me feel stupid. And small.
Joshua is having such a hard time with 2nd* grade. The mama bear in me wants to sweep in and save him and make his world perfect and fair. But that’s not how life is. Life is full of trials and tribulations. I am just SO not ready for him to be facing them yet. Part of wants to home school him, but I feel like he would be miserable. Plus if I wanted to be a teacher, I would be in schools getting paid for it. I wish I could be a home schooling mom. But I don’t think it would be beneficial to either of us.
He’s so incredibly smart it’s scary.
I have never met a more caring young by that could be so cool at the same time. He is truly a boy after my own heart.
Today he said his favorite movie was Zombieland. And he loves dinosaurs.
He’s too awesome for his own good.
* Not grade wise, but OCD wise.
