Ohhhhhh Monday

♥ I spent TWO nights in a row in my OWN bed with my husband! No couch! It was amazing. However I did wake up Sunday morning with a horrible backache. How weird is that?! You would assume that sleeping in my bed rather then my super-mega-uncomfortable couch would make my back feel divine. Well not so much.

♥ I kicked my laundries ass yesterday. There had been a GINORMOUS pile of clean clothes on my bedroom floor for the longest time, and yesterday I FINALLY had it all folded and put away.

♥ Not only did I kick the laundries ass, but I cleaned out all of Leah's too-small clothes from her dresser, and with help from a BF got things separated into piles for ebay, donation, and yard sale!

♥ All this week my goal is to purge, purge, PURGE! I seriously have borderline hoarding issues, and I'm looking to make some ROOM in all of our closets. Plus the extra cash would be lovely. I've only ever done one other yard sale, it was pretty successful. I'm hoping to be as successful, if not more-so this time around.

♥ Oh another big score for the weekend, I hit up the grocery store! After a week with NOTHING to eat, having a full pantry and fridge is friggin' AWESOME! If I'm hungry, I can walk to my kitchen and indulge in a yum-o snack. There's even juice and milk for the kiddo's to drink. No more squeezing juice boxes in to sippy cups!! {Yes, that's how bad I fail at motherhood.}

♥ Hailey made her first bff and it is the CUTEST thing! She had her first slumber party! It's very exciting to see her grow up. Bittersweet I would call it. {I am still having a hard time grasping that she will be starting kindergarten next year.}

♥ The hub-o took all three kiddo's fishing allllll day yesterday! I can't remember the last time I had a whole day to MYSELF at home. In fact, I'm not certain that it has EVER happened! {Other than one time when I was super sick.} I didn't know what to do with myself at first. Then I went on a rampage and kicked the laundry piles ass, cleaned even MORE laundry, did Leah's dresser, a few bags of clothes in the closet, and paid bills.

♥ Um, quick question! Where the CRAP did April go?!?! No, not the chick, the MONTH! Didn't I just have my birthday?! There's not way it's going to be May in a few short days. Impossible.

♥ On a bright side, there's only weeks of school left. How many weeks? I'm not sure, but summer break is just around the corner and if I squint my eyes I can almost make it out.

♥ Oh my lordy, lordy, Joshua had some sort of funkalicious staph infection going on. The Dr. wasn't sure if it was MRSA or impetigo. {Hopefully we'll find out lap results today.} Neither are good to have. He had to stay home from school Friday, and probably shouldn't have gone today really. The wounds are covered up though, I don't think anyone is in any danger of catching anything.

♥ Last night Leah was uber cute. I was growling at her, in the most fun and friendliest of ways, and she would run and laugh and scream and say, in the cutest way ever, "You scare me!". It was adorable. We were outside on the front porch later that night, and she kept pointing to any leaf/blade of grass/shadow and saying, "Caterpillar"! It was so cute. She's really peaking at her cuteness. I hope it doesn't go downhill from here. {For the record, I've seen 3 year-olds struggle with the word "caterpillar" and Leah ROCKED it hardcore.} <---Every mama has the right to brag every now and again.

♥ I feel like I was able to catch up on some much needed sleep, but still have a lot more catching up to do. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a nap today. I feel a dull achy headache behind my eyes, and I'm pretty sure it's one of those, "Sleep or I'm going to go migraine-ninja on your ass. I really don't want to battle a migraine-ninja! It's only Monday!! :(
