A Tasty Tuesday Treat 5.18.10

No post-it's, not tunes, today is a Tasty Tuesday post! It has been so long since I've posted any recipes or good eats! I wanted to share a favorite breakfast of mine.

One of my fave things at McDonalds® is the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel.


Well this baby clocks in at a whopping 590 calories, 26 grams of  fat and 13.5 Weight Watchers POINTS®!

Well my friends I have a very light, and delicious alternative to that fatty mcfaterton breakfast sandwich!

This is what you need:

  • 1-Thomas Bagel Thins
  • 1 tbsp-Fat Free Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 slice-Turkey Bacon {I prefer Oscar Mayer}
  • 3-Egg Whites
Scramble the egg whites, while scrambling toast the bagel thin. Cook the turkey bacon, and drain on a paper towel. It's super easy to assemble, just put the scrambled egg whites on the bottom half of the bagel and top with the bacon and fat free cheese.

Total Calorie Count: 230
Total Fat: 4 grams of fat
Weight Watchers POINTS®: 4

Can you believe it?! You get a nutritious low fat, low point breakfast sandwich without sacrificing ANY of the flavor or yummy goodness!

I'm trying to get back into WW so this is quite helpful! 13.5 points to 4!! WOW! I'm sure it isn't nearly as good but I only have 20 points A DAY so I gotta do someting!
