It has been a few weeks since I last participated in the Before & After blog hop. It is one of my favorite blog hops to participate in and I've been itching to link up again.
This shot was not even meant to be a shot. {Does that even make sense? lol} My hubby was going to have to get behind the camera so that I could *gasp* be in a photo with my sisters. I had to get the settings right before he snapped away and Leah just happened to be there. When she saw my camera she immediately said "cheese!" so I took a quick pic to appease her. I then went on and did a practice shot of my sisters and forgot about the little shot of Leah. When I uploaded the pics I saw it and I thought it was so cute! It's just SO LEAH! Her dirty face, marker covered hands and arms, running around outside in a diaper, lol. I just felt like it caputured my baby girl in her raw form. I loved it. I love it!
So I would like to share with you, my Leah:
I didn't do anything fancy or special. Just brought out it's {what I thought to be} natural beauty. Oh, and I used Photoshop Elements 7.

Thanks for your sweet comment today. I'm not leaving for the summer though...just for a week or two as I de-junkify my home!!
It has been a while since I saw you on the before/after loop. I'm glad you're back! Love the after shot! So beautiful!
Very nice before and after. It warmed up the shot considerably and the eyes are so crystal clear!
I'm a little late getting to the before and afters this week. :) I love this edit! Sometimes simple is really the best. I have a question. Do you love Elements? How different is it from Photoshop CS4 OR 5? I am trying to decide which to buy. Can you do textures and actions in Elements?
Thanks for visiting and following my blog. I'm following you now. You have a great blog! :)
