Moaning Monday 8.2.10

I am so done with Summer. I'm loving the break from school, and the somewhat sleeping in, and all that good stuff. But I am SO over the heat.

It's disgusting.

I HATE HOT WEATHER. With a passion. I can't stand it. I am just not one of those people that can thrown on shorts and a tank, and enjoy the warm weather air. I find it miserable, and SO not fun.

Sweating, is not fun. Sweating is gross.

This summer in particular has been particularly unbearable. I swear it has been one of the hottest summers ever. Like triple digit hot, with crazy insane heat indexes. Equatorish weather not NC weather. So hot, that the kiddo's haven't even been able to play outside many days. Joshua does NOT handle heat well with his asthma, and Hailey would get overheated within an hour. And this is with coming in to drink often. It wasn't safe to play outside some days!

I have felt for Mel SO MUCH this summer. :( He has had to endure 130 degree attics!

The worst part, the past several weeks we have had NO a/c in the van. It was acting all wacky, and then eventually just quit. We haven't had the money to take it anywhere, and Mel hasn't had the time to work on it himself.

Honestly, I went grocery shopping last Monday, and didn't leave the house again until Saturday, when my bf and I went to pick up dinner. I stayed in the house ALL week, it was just too hot to go anywhere.

I am ready for fall! Cool weather! Cold weather! I'd settle for WARM WEATHER! I am just OVER this hot mess. OVER IT!

What are you moaning about today?

{PS I can't BELIEVE that it is AUGUST!!!! Joshua will be 8 years old in 18 days! AHHHHHHH!}
