Before & After

My kids are posers. No, not the wannabe type, the posing type. You put a camera on them and they instantly strike a pose. If modeling wasn't so expensive to get started in, I would consider all three of my kiddos for the job. They work a camera better than most strippers work poles. Okay, maybe that wasn't an appropriate analogy, but you get the point.

Perhaps it's just being the kids of a photog. Perhaps I am extremely-over-the-top biased.

Anywho, we were headed out to Pizza Hut to celebrate Miss Leah's second year on earth and I wanted a pic of her in her cute new dress. The second I pulled my camera out she started with the posing. I'm thinking I'm going to create a whole little collage of some of the poses she through out in a seconds time just before getting in the car. You'd be amazed. Seriously.

This shot is one of those poses. I love my doll-faced baby girl!

{BEFORE}

The original was edited in DPP to add contrast and sharpening before being converted to JPEG.

{AFTER}

I edited using CS5, cropped in, brightened her eyes a tad, and popped that color. {Erased the color pop off of the skin.} It was shot with my Canon 50D and my nifty fifty which lives on my camera.
