My Dramatic Week Part II

So where did we leave off? Mom woke up laying on the porch, A-Fib heart attack, okay.

So Saturday comes. Saturday was to be Hailey's day. The night before her cousin and BFF Brinley stayed the night. We had a yummy dinner and ice cream before they drifted off to sleep. Joshua stayed with his Grandparents, and Leah stayed with her Aunt Kay Kay, so it was just the girls.

We woke up, got the kiddos up and ready and headed out for Hailey's day. We were going to a kiddy salon for mini-mani's and mini-pedi's, hair cuts, and styles. The day started out great! The girls enjoyed getting their toes and nails painted. They both got their hair trimmed and both decided they wanted curls for their style. While I got up to go the bathroom drama times A MILLION occurred and knocked the days plans off it's axis. I won't go into details, but it was bad. {I know you're probably wondering what the CRAP happened, but I really can't and won't say.}

After the hair debacle, we left and the girls got to pick out cupcakes at the AWESOME SAS Cupcakes. {Hailey picked triple chocolate.} The original plan for the day was a day of beauty and pampering, followed by cupcakes, and then a shopping trip to a special girly store for an outfit for the birthday girl. Because of all of the drama and stress it turned into a lousy and boring trip to Target. {Whoopdy-doo} Which pretty much defeated the whole shopping thing. It was supposed to be a fun, special experience, I can hardly call Target special. But whatevs the day had already gone to shit.

Thinking the drama was over for the day we headed home to get ready for a special dinner at Hailey's favorite restaurant. A Japanese steakhouse. You know, the fancy ones where you sit around the hibachi grill and watch the chef cook your food in a very entertaining manner. The girls had picked out matching outfits to wear, and were excited for a yummy dinner.

My sister Katie was driving Hailey and I home. After a pretty huge yelling match in the car, adding to the drama and shittiness of the day, we weren't speaking. We didn't speak the entire 40 minute drive home. We were a few miles from my house when I got a text from my sister Dana that said, "Mom unresponsive on phone w 911".

My stomach dropped. It literally felt like it hit the floor and bounc back up into my throat.

"Dana just said Mom's unresponsive, she's on the phone with 911." I said. Katie just kept driving, looking straight ahead. I wasn't sure if what I had said had registered. "Turn the car around Katie." THAT registered she immediately did a 180, screw the 3 point turn, she totally pulled out some ninja driving skills and the next thing I knew we were going probably 90mph down the road towards my sisters house.
