When asked, "How big is baby?", I put, "I'm guessing just over 3 lb's, and 16" or 17". " Well I have no idea how long little G is, but he's not 3 pounds.
Baby Center says he should weigh almost 3lb's for 30 weeks. The Bump says 2.5-3.8 lb's.
I am 30 weeks along today, by fundal height {aka the size of my uterus} I'm measuring 2 weeks ahead, at 32 weeks. Grayson? Well Grayson is measuring in between 33w4d and 34w1d. He is in the 95th %tile, and weighing in at a whopping 4 pounds 9 ounces.
To put this in perspective, {my neice} Brinley went home from the hospital weighing that exact weight. She was 5 weeks early. I still have 9 weeks until my c-section. Also babies usually triple their weight between now and birth, putting on 1/2 to 1 lb. a week. That would put Grayson weighing around 13.5 lb's.
Holy. Cow.
There is a chance he will level out to lower weight. But he's definitely not going to be a 7 pound baby. Probably not even 8.
THANK GOD I am having a repeat c-section. But the thought of carrying around so much baby in my belly scares the ever loving bejesus out of me. I feel like I'm getting payback for being born weighing 11lb 2oz.
I said all along I had a feeling he was going to be my 11 pounder. My little linebacker. I have big babies, but I think he will take the cake. {Literally, he will probably be born crying for cake.}
Seriously though, 8, 9, 15 pounds? I don't care as long as he's healthy. I don't want another little one in the NICU.
I will say this...it certainly explains his chubby chubster cheeks! ^_^
Here are some cute pics of babyzilla's beautiful profile, and his ginormous babyzilly foot:
{Look at those little lips puckered up! He had literally just been sucking his toes! ^_^}
{Look at that perfect, and HUGE, foot!}
And me:
30 Weeks
At least I now have an excuse as to why I'm SO INCREDIBLY HUGE! ^_^
