5 years ago today my beautiful neice Brinley came into this world. {As almost as reluctantly as her older cousin.} I don't know the ENTIRE story, and my version may not be as accurate, but Brinley was born when my sister's water broke 5 weeks early after several weeks of bed rest. After trying to get Brinley out D ended up in the operating room, with a c-section. Unfortunately when D was cut, she FELT it and ended up being knocked out.
Brinley was TINY just a hair over 5lb's, with lots of beautiful brown hair. She was a tiny beautiful little baby. {I don't know what I could do with a 5lb baby. I would feel like I would break the fragile little thing!}
Anyway, that was 5 years ago today. And Brinley is pretty much the same. She's still a tiny little thing, with long beautiful brown hair. As tiny as she is, she's got some spunk. Probably my fave things she's ever said to me?
"I make volcano's, and then I punch them in their face."
She cracks me up. She is one of the girliest girls I know. I think when you're tiny and dainty being girly comes with the territory. She can walk in heels better than I can, and probably where's make-up more than I do. When she and Hailey get together it's like "Return of the late 80's early 90's Vally Girl", but with a 5 and 6 year old.
It worries me what they will be like as teens...
Anyway, just wanted to wish my one and only niece the happiest of birthday's from blogland!
