{Pepperoni monster!}

{After 82,569 pepperoni's, her mouth gets "hot" and she's gotta have her juice!}
Leah is ADDICTED to pepperoni right now. It's hard to keep her out of the fridge! It's her go-to snack, and it's hard to sneak in cheese, fruit and crackers because all she wants is PEPPERONI. She's always asking for pizza, but she only ever eats the pepp off of it, and if you give her plain cheese she is NOT happy.
I spent my pregnancy with Leah waiting for Breaking Dawn to finally come out. Now I'm spending this pregnancy waiting for the movie! I'm reading the book for the 47th million time. {Okay, honestly it's probably the 8th or 9th time. Ah, pathetic.} I read Breaking Dawn for the first time when I was just a little further along with Leah than I am now with G. {It came out August 2008, Leah was born September 8th, 2008.} So it's kind of surreal to be all big and preg and uncomfortable and reading it again.
I had this oh-so-adorable diaper custom made for G! And I LURVE it. It came in the mail yesterday! I ordered it from Three Monkey's Cloth Diapers. I also got 10 awesome custom made cloth wipes with it. GO FLUFF!
Joshua is having a hard time in school right now. His grades are great, but one of his A's went down to a B, and I was bummed about that. {If he was anyone else I wouldn't care a bit, but I know what he's capable of.} He's just unhappy and I hate seeing him unhappy. It breaks my heart. I'm glad that there is only 6 weeks left, I think he's ready for summer break.
It's hard to not notice the crazy weather, storms, tornadoes, and flooding that's been hitting our country like ca-razy. It's freaky. And it makes me nervous. We don't have a basement, cellar, or storm cellar. I don't feel anywhere in our house is safe if a tornado were to hit us. NC doesn't normally get tornadoes, but they've hit all over our state like crazy. I can't help but wonder what our Summer's thunderstorms will bring. I know SEVERAL people that have had vehicle damage from hail, and that have had to replace their roof because of storm damage. I feel REALLY lucky and blessed to not have any damage so far. {Eek, knock on wood!!!}
I tried recreating an awesome print I found on etsy. {I posted about it HERE.} I think I had semi-success! It's a lot harder than it looks! I want all of the kiddo's names done and plan on asking the seller if they could do other sizes besides 8x10. I'd love posters made!
I am SO PROUD of my Hailey! Her grade level has gone up in EVERY subject, and she is doing SO, SO well reading! She's really soaring in school and I couldn't be happier. She's not the bookworm that her brother and I are, but she's a great reader none-the-less. I hope to start reading more books with her in hopes of sparking an interest in reading. I'm going to be on the hunt for Beverly Clearly books. I loved her when I was Hailey's age.
I had a great Mother's Day, even though it didn't go necessarily as planned. :) The kiddos had handmade gifts for me that I will treasure always! Mel planned to take me to breakfast but EVERYthing was packed. I ended up with a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit from McD's, but no complaining there! We ate in the car on the way to Ikea. {I LOVE Ikea.} After walking around the show room floor for about an hour, and taking lots of breaks, we picked up the kiddos from the kid drop off and enjoyed a YUMMY Ikea lunch! Then we visited the Furniture Row Sofa Mart across the street just for fun. For dinner Mel tried again and this time we were able to get into Cracker Barrel. It was a great Mother's Day. :)
That's all I've got today folks. Have a Random Post you'd like to link-up? Head over and see Jamie at TaterTwins!
