"Thanksgiving is a day when we pause to give thanks for the things we have. Veterans Day is a day when we pause to give thanks to the people who fought for the things we have."
That quote is floating around Facebook today. Sometimes alone, sometimes with a cute little cartoon of a dude praying and dog tags. It's so incredibly true.
OF COURSE today I am thankful for our veterans. Those who have fought for MY freedom.
Ha! I love someecards.com for serious.
Thank you. Thank you to anyone who has ever served. Thank you for your sacrifices for me, so that my children and I can live a life of freedom. Free to serve our God. Free to speak our minds. Free to be. Freedom is never free and you paid the price. I once heard an amazing quote,"Only Two Defining Forces Have Ever Died For You: Jesus The Christ And Your American Soldier". For that I am EVER so thankful.

"But the freedom that they fought for, and the country grand they wrought for, Is their monument to-day, and for aye."

Hug a vet today. Thank them.
