I tried telling myself that since there is no February 30th that you would just be 7 months for two months. But...apparently no. It's not to be. You're 8 months whether I like it or not.
*sigh*
I think the one thing that is bothering me the most is that your only 4 months away from your first birthday!!
I can't wrap my hand around that. I refuse to. Then means that technically I should start planning your first birthday party! I don't even have a theme!! You don't really have any favorites yet. :(
Okay enough of the sads and denial and all that. Time for the happiness!!
First and foremost I must tell you how incredibly AWESOME you are. You are just freaking amazingly awesome!! Everyone freaking adores you like mad. How can they not? You have a signature smile....

You did SO much your 7th month that your 8th can't quite compete. You did have a few new firsts though...
{Your first meal!}
You're eating more and more foods. Believe it or not one of your faves is tomatoes!! You eat what I eat basically, but it's mostly just playing, feeling and learning still. You have a neat trick where you eat grapes and somehow just leave the skin. It's pretty impressive I must say.

Cups are still touch and go. Sometimes you're interested sometimes not.
You randomly sign things. I think you understand more signs than you use. You know "milk" though that's for sure! You see how hear milk and go crazy. And you have a "milk" cry. Even your aunties know it! You're signing it more every day.
Sometimes you smile and we can see both of your adorable little teefers. Speaking of teefers, you've become quite bitey at times and you even left little teeth marks on my finger at dinner tonight! Unfortunately you also bit me for the first time earlier today while you were nursing. It was not cool and that's just with two on the bottom. I'm scared of any coming through in top....
You're like DAYS away from walking I swear. You're starting to cruise faster and with only one hand and we even got you on video walking without holding on for a step or two!! (Will post ASAP.)

Your hair is growing like crazy and I can really see a difference when I look back at last months post.
We're realizing how sensitive you are. (I secretly love it.) You break down if you're scolded at all. I know it's because you're a sweet, sweet boy. (That's why I love it, not because I'm evil.)
You're at one of the BEST ages and saying you're a complete joy is an understatement. We all adore you like crazy!
