Project: Bedroom

I've been working on updating our bedroom for a few months now. Because we'll be leaving our home and moving on soon there won't be any painting done, but everything else is completely changing! It's been long over due too. We're finally owners of ADULTS furniture, not children's, and it feels awesome.

I put together a little design board to jump off of and it's coming together beautifully! I can't wait until the new look is complete! ^_^

1. I LOVE this frame from Ikea. I haven't decided what I'm going to put in it yet...I'm thinking coordinating fabric to go with our curtains and duvet cover.

2. This is an owl switch plate that I ADORE. We won't be putting this up until the big move. {From anthropology.}

3. Hemnes dresser from Ikea. We are still waiting on this piece! I'm hoping to find it on Craig's List, but I'm growing impatient and will probably end up just getting from Ikea.

4. Beckland bed from Ikea. I LOVE OUR NEW BED!!!!!

5. I LOVE these curtains from UrbanOutfitters!!

6. Dresser from Ikea, I can't remember the name. We ended up going with the 8 drawer Hemnes dresser that we were able to find SUPER cheap on Craig's List.

7. Love this rug so much!

9. Zig-zag duvet cover?? YES PLEASE! {It's backordered, waiting SUCKS.} From UrbanOutfiters.

10. The girly girl in me has always wanted a vanity. We went with the Hemnes dresser with a vanity top to bring in the black and for more storage space. I LOVE IT.

Look at what a hot mess our room was before...

It's a mess right now as we pull the new look together but it's getting there and SO MUCH BETTER.
