Breathless, afraid, clearly fresh from escaping a horrific brush with death, "I almost fell to my death and died."

Uninterested, not an air of concern, one may even go as far as saying 'heartless', "How?"

Agitated, perplexed, on the verge of tears, "Trying to turn the stupid light off!"

Uncaring, smug in every way, "Were you trying to turn it off from the bed?"

Animated with shock and disbelief, "Yes! How do you know everything?!"

"Because that's something the kids would do..."

Hangs head in shame, "Shut up..."

I won't name any names. I will leave it up to the reader to put the puzzle together. I will say though that certain husbands should be more concerned for their wives lives. Or at the very least the muscles they strained while they desperately thwarted a scary fall to the floor...
