I have decided to do a tribute to PB&J.
There is nothing better than a good creamy peanut butter slathered between two pieces of bread with some sweet grape jam. You pair that delectable delight with a cold glass of milk, and I'm one happy momma!
No matter who you are, if you're a PB&J lover, I guarantee you have your favorite brand of peanut butter and jelly. Personally, I believe the PERFECT PB&J consists of creamy, never chunky, Skippy peanut butter, a super fresh white bread (we prefer WhiteWheat), and very importantly a good grape jam (I tend to go for Smuckers, but will just as easily use Welchs.) We don't do jelly, or preserves around here. It's jam all the way. You also have to have the perfect ratio of peanut butter to jelly. Having too much of one or the other can throw the whole sandwich off. The only thing that could make the above contents come together even more beautifully would be to have someone else make the sandwich. It's one of life's great mysteries, but I think we can all agree that sandwiches taste better when made by someone other than ourselves.
