What Happened?

Somehow along the way my sweet little babies turned into mean little monsters! What the crap?! They can be SO mean sometimes! It's awful. You think you're doing great, teaching manners, and trying to teach them to be loving, compassionate children, and the next thing you know they're beating the crap out of each other! Leah's hitting Hailey, Hailey's hitting Joshua, Joshua's throwing stuff, they're busting holes in walls, it's INSANE. I feel like I'm running a delinquent center at times!

The attitude. Oh the attitude. I don't recall acquiring an attitude until at least middle school. But Hailey? She is he sassiest, sass master, I have ever met in my life! She is the definition of attitude! (Okay, maybe not, I don't feel like looking up what the actual definition is....) "Do I look like I'm hungry mom?!", "I am not wearing that!", "Ugh, oh my God, whatever mom." This is what you would typically expect from a middle schooler, true? Yes, well she just turned 5. I know I can't believe it either.

One blessing to all of these grown up attitudes is the humor. My kiddo's are SO flippin' funny! They seriously make me laugh every day. Weather it's making faces, or jokes, or dancing or singing funny songs, they are constantly making me laugh. It certainly makes up for the bad times. :)

Thank you for giving me hope that it isn't just my 5-year-old who suddenly developed major attitude. I got my first "WHATEVER" the other day and I almost smacked him but then burst out laughing. Seriously ... he sounded like he was 16-years-old or something!

Now I know what to look forward to.

I'm scared... and definitely considering waiting a few years to have another. My dear friend had a 5 lb 3 oz baby girl last night and I photographed the birth. I came away from the hospital with a serious baby craving. But now it's not so bad. ; )

Thank you for the well wishes. I feel like a new person.

Maybe it's just the barametric pressure of the atmosphere. That's what we always blamed it on anyway!

Jenners & Krissy- It's comforting to know I'm not in this boat alone!

Justine- Wow, thanks! Haha! Yea, I know, I'm terrified. What the hell am I going to do when PMS hits?! *shudders*

Mum- Be prepared! And who knows, you may luck out and have an awesomely docile kiddo! :D

Betty- Haha! YES! That's exactly what I will blame it on. Barametric Pressure! Mystery solved! ;oD Thanks! Hehe!

My 4 year old has a total attitude too!!! I've been trying everything to get him in check, but he still brings out the attitude!
