{I totally want this sticker!!!!}
It gets dangerous at times. Turning the oven on to preheat and then deciding to make something else, but forgetting I turned it on. Or just forgetting to turn the oven off after meals. Leaving my purse in shopping carts, or on the shelves at the register.
Which brings me to keys, good God my keys.
I can't tell you how many times I have run around like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to find my keys. I've been late SO many times from losing my keys.
Poor Mel. He gets SO aggravated! I can't blame him. I probably would too! It's such a simple solution to him! JUST PUT THE KEYS IN THE SAME SPOT EVERY TIME!! I can see how simple that would be, to come home after a long days work, alone, with nothing in your hands other than your car keys and lunch box, thinking about ONE thing at a time...
Unfortunately I don't have that luxury.
I come in carrying a 20 month-old, and often a sleeping 5 year old. Bookbags, diaperbags, store bags, drinks, sippy cups, books, mail, well you get the picture.
Something like this:
Except not....
And on top of that I'm probably thinking about on average roughly 4 to 7 different things at one time. "Did I grab my purse out of the car? Is it IN the car? Did I leave it at the store? Where is my phone? Crap I forgot the sour cream! That ruins taco night! OH! Look! A new episode of iCarly! Is that a rock or a bug on the mantel?" etc. Plus I've got the kids talking to me on top of this! "Can I have a snack? What is there to eat?" Telling me about their day, yadda, yadda. If you're a mom I really don't have to paint this picture for you, you get it loud and clear.
Do you see how it is so VERY hard to "put my keys in the same place every time"?! Do you see how it is SO VERY EASY to lost the sons of snitches?!
I rest my case.

This is absolutely 100 percent me! EVERY DAY! Maybe I have it too! My keys need one of those things like cordless home phones have where you can push a button and it beeps.
Yep..I definitely hear ya on this. My husband accuses me of having ADD all the time. I think it's getting worse with age!
