{Leah inspecting her pile of glory. And oh look! My Keys!!}
Which leads me to our new and improved time-out corner!
My last trip to IKEA one of my several scores was this blue circle rug:
It is the PERFECT size and shape for a time out rug, and at $4.99 it's totally worth it! Also I got blue because my darling friend Kelli said it is a calming color and God knows we needs calmness during time out time.
I finally talked Joshua into cutting his hair. I couldn't take it anymore. We tried growing it out. Going for the whole Justin Beiber look, but I couldn't stand it. So I took him to the best barber in town and got it whacked off! Honest to blog it's the best haircut he's ever had. I've always taken him to the mall, or Great Clips because they're cheap, and that's often where I take Hailey and it was convenient to do two at a time. I was NEVER happy with his haircuts though. They always jacked his hair up, leaving lines and all sorts of other mess. So I tried the at home hair cut. After all I cut his dads hair. Well Mel doesn't have the thickest coarsest hair on the plant and Joshua does. FINALLY I took Joshua to an actual barber for the first time. {Just so happens to by my darling friend Kelli's hubby Dave, who is awesome.} I am kicking myself for not taking him to a barber sooner. Not only are the haircuts cheaper, but he KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING!!! Joshua's haircut was perfection. If wasn't so busy taking pics of poop and whatnot I would remember to snap a shot of his hair, but I never think about it until he's in bed. Such as now. I will take a pic the next time he goes in.

i thought josh's hair looked fine. i didn't notice he needed a haircut. but look at my kids. can't wait to see it!
Hey! Stop by my blog, I've got an award for you!
Ewww! That is quite funny though. My son is trying for the Justin Beiber look too! He had it longer and just recently got it cut, so we are okay with the length because it is now shorter thank goodness. Not as short as I would like but sometimes I have to give in to avoid the arguments.
I am almost positive the time out rug would NOT work in my house. We have resorted to taking absolutely everything out of my two youngest girls room. There is seriously nothing but beds with blankets and pillows. We tried sitting them on stools..you know, the really tall ones, and that worked when they were younger because they couldn't get down but now its just a game. Now they dive off or stand up and sing American Idol style.
