I haven't posted a food love post in a few weeks! Because of the darn diabeetus I don't get to eat what I love or crave anymore. {Do you hear the sad violins playing?} I basically eat the same crap over and over. And I wouldn't even say that I "like" all of the foods I'm eating. Some I'm just tolerating, or eating to fill me up so I can stop thinking of things like frosted flakes, and cupcakes, and my beloved turkey subs.

So in longing remembrance of the day where I craved, and indulged in carbohydrate filled foods, I will instead make a list of foods that I don't necessarily want, but CAN HAVE!

Tuna- I've actually been really liking tuna sandwiches, and tuna on crackers. {It's gotta tons of mayonnaise and just a wee bit of dill relish.} I've been eating the sammiches on hamburger buns. It makes them yummier for some unknown reason.

Cheese- I'm eating a ton of cheese because it's one of the few things I can eat as much as I want! I cut it up and eat in in cubes, or shred it and put it on everything.

Bacon- I eat a shiz load of bacon. I actually LOVE bacon. It's yum. And it's really nice to be able to eat as much of it as I want.

Eggs- I'm over scrambled eggs, so I've been enjoying them fried. And I love deviled eggs, I ate the heck out of them Easter. {I should probably eat more.}

Whole Wheat Cracka's- In my case, saltine's. I eat 'em with pimento cheese, and tuna salad, and peanut butter, and make little tiny cracker pizzas.

Graham Cracka's- Just a couple squares is all I can have. It's usually my go-to "dessert" or snack. Love it with peanut butter.

Cheese Quesadilla's w/ Sour Cream and Salsa- I eat these a lot because they're fast, easy, and yummy.

In small doses- Banana w/ peanut butter, and/ or applesauce.

Obviously I can eat more than that. But that's pretty much all I like. It gets boring eating the same things over and over. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks I pretty much eat the same crap again and again in rotation. My dinner's I switch it up a bit.

It sucks I won't be able to do any more cravings posts. I mean, duh, I could but why would I want to torture myself that way? Right?

So, you can eat bacon, cheese, and crackers, huh?

I'm about to become your best friend and an enemy of your arteries with these two magical words....

Bacon crisps.

Take crackers that have a raised lip, sprinkle Fiesta cheese (which is a really shitty name for "We threw a bunch of different shredded cheeses in a bag and couldn't think of anything to call it, but it sure looks festive!" Which is also a pretty shitty name and entirely too long to fit on the bag.

Ok, we're putting fiesta cheese on crackers. THEN... and here comes the magical part... we're going to wrap these festive cheese crackers in uncooked bacon, stick them in the oven, and bake them.

It's the most magical thing I've ever put in my mouth.

Have you ever gotten a tuna sub on flatbread at Subway? I had it today. Have them toast the bread with the cheese on it then put the tuna and fixings on top, it's AMAZING!

P.S. I love mine on potato rolls too. They're slightly sweet and so yummy!
