I obsessively love my camera. Obsessively. The thought of anything happening to it sends me into a panic. You may think I'm exaggerating. Last night, Hailey picked up my camera cord last night and was playing with it, tossing it around and such. Mel spots her and what does he say? "You better put that up! That's your mom's lifeline." See? Obsessive. It's a little extreme.
{But not too extreme, don't get me wrong, I have my priorities. And my camera's not at the top. But I do love my camera something fierce.}
I am incredibly, incredibly thankful for my camera.
My photos are my most prized possession. {Inanimate anyway.} After getting the kids out, my photographs would be the first thing I would grab in a fire. Some have been taken by others, but the majority were snapped with my very own camera.
I've captured first smiles, first days of school, first performances in school programs, a lot of firsts, but more than that, memories! My brother-in-law is gone now, but he will always live on in the photos we have of him. The kids will grow up and may not remember his as much, but we will always have pictures to show them how much their Uncle loved them.
My camera is to thank for that.
So I'm thankful for it.
I love you camera! I really do!
